Sky News seem to be very much playing up that this is a significant development, I don’t know if they know more than they’re letting on.
It seems like this very sad situation might be coming to a conclusion.

It does seem that way. Just watched the breaking news being covered by Inzamam on Sky News, said it’s the greatest police presence in a while. Police helicopter and drone focusing on one area of the River Wyre a mile down from where she was last spotted.

DM are saying it’s a tip off to the police from walkers in the area so presume they have seen something significant rather than it just being a regular search.

I really feel for the family

If she is no longer alive I think a lot of us will be in mourning for her a little.
Not necessarily traumatised but we have become very invested and learned things about one another (in some cases,) that we probably would never have known from other threads where we interact.
My heart goes out to her family, all the waiting and now this, the worst waiting of all.
Love to you all.

I don't think we can judge what people like to look at on the internet. How do you all know it's not normal? And even if it's "abnormal" its bleeping boobs!

I honestly think people need to take a long hard look at themselves. It's 2023 not 1723. People on here acting like puritans come on now. Your children probably look at far worse things.
I think “normal” and “ normalised” are 2 very different things. There is significant evidence to support the link between the ever increasing DV statistics and porn..
The people I work with have been viewing it since they were 8/9 if not younger… in their circles it’s normalised - everyone is doing it.
But is it normal? Healthy? No.

I know blind box opening videos and slime making can be annoying, but I don't think it's on the level of boobs haha....now that Peppa pig....she's something else I swear 😨
My kid spent hours make playdoh mystery eggs yesterday, each with a prize in, she made us all line up and pay 10p to open one, but we weren't even allowed to keep it! Jammy git! 🤣 Flipping too much YouTube kids if you ask me! 🤣

That area is right where she went missing from and an area of river that has been searched repeatedly (at least I think it is anyway). That makes me consider two things:
1) she has been located in the water but had been concealed by reeds or similar.
2) she has been located but not in the water.

Was it yesterday they brought the dog team in?
I was always sceptical that if something happened they would place her in the river eventually, even though it'd be difficult to not be seen. Be easy for someone who lived on the land to take her from a building to the river once police presence had gone.

But they would discover if it was foul play at some point anyway.

Still won't be convinced she put herself there if that's what's discovered. Im praying they've just blocked it off to do a real search of the fields. Maybe metal detectors have found the keys are they're digging the immediate area just in case anything else is there

I hope it's not bad 🙏🙏💛💛💛

I really don't believe this is the reason why there is much pearl clutching going on, myself included. Lots of men and women enjoy porn or titties or whatever you're having yourself sir. It's the fact that he's in a committed relationship and doesn't even have the basic respect to his partner not to at least be discreet about it. I'd be absolutely fuming if my husband decided to start following lots of young women on his social media. It's just ick and disrespectful. And I know he enjoys a wank on occasion, as do I, but there is a mutually respectful way to go about it.
In fairness to him he probably didn’t think his wife would disappear and have the whole nation turn into detectives diving into every aspect of his life. Men don’t think logically like women and they are not as sensitive as women. Of course I’d be annoyed if my boyfriend did it but men don’t understand the reasoning they see it as I’m just looking not touching. And I do think Paul’s socials are not that unusual for men of his age or any age really. The only difference is his wife is missing.

I'll never truly understand the 'contrarian' figures who love to swarm down on cases like this and tell everyone how little they care. Okay, duly noted. Thanks very much, have a lovely day. 🤷‍♀️ Energy better spent rallying around the things you do care about, I would've thought.

There isn't a limited amount of compassion in the world. You needn't come and chop down people's compassion for one case in order to make space for others. 'Why HER?' isn't really a fruitful question, in that it leads nowhere fruitful for the women and men not getting their story told.

Nah, my partner can be a total divvy but he's not using Pinterest as a public wank bank, sorry.

I don't know ANYONE Paul's age or mine (I'm a bit younger) who's SM platforms look like his 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
