Not exactly to plan, but you got through it!

Anyone else’s baby see their cot as some sort of gym equipment rather than for sleeping?! Baby G looked like she was going to start doing pull ups to avoid sleep earlier 🫠

@Easilyannoyed happy birthday! Sounds like you had the perfect day

This is such a sweet thing to say it’s made me 🥹🥹 being a mum cleaner cook part time working woman socialising is just draining sometimes I’m knackered! I’ve aged and I have multicoloured shit everywhere but this time last year she was still in my tummy and I wondered who she would be what she would look like. Would I even be a good mum would she love me all this stuff I’m sure we have all thought at some point but becoming a mum has changed me so much. I’m no longer as anxious as I used to be I can fight for my child’s health and happiness with medical experts and we do know best! The confidence she has given me, patience and strength are endless and the happiness is worth all of the tiredness. For anyone struggling I’ve been there I still go there sometimes but it’s normal and you will get through it. Watching orange smile and clap today and having a I love you mum card I really did have my most special birthday I love you all and I haven’t even had any wine

Was just changing baby waka and kept the lights low so put my phone light on, she was whimpering looking left and right at the ceiling and I thought this is it, she can see ghosts & they’re right above me, they’re going to get me. I was going to get mr waka but decided to look first.. turns out it was just my huge shadow spooking her

Just to lower the tone I had mushy peas for lunch and I keep trumping good night everyone… well until 3:30 when it’s party time all over again

Totally unrelated question but what do you all pay a month for gas and electricity? I thought we’d got off pretty lightly with the recent price hikes but have just had an email to say our bills are going up another £119 a month.

We’ve got to the stage where baby won’t sit still in bed in the mornings I just want to chill, but he’s all over the place, trying to grab my phone or the iPad. Just wish he’d sit still and watch fireman Sam

We’ve just moved, and dreading the bills. We were paying £140 a month on a 3 bed house. We are definitely going to be paying at least £100 more

Mines like this too. As soon as her eyes open she needs to be sat up, pulling herself along, grabbing things, standing up hanging off me NOW. I just need 10 mins to wake up properly
