I think I have come across them on YouTube too, as I watch a lot of videos for Christmas/birthday present ideas for children. There is another family with three girls, the eldest and youngest have names I quite like ( Sophie or Sophia and Lexi, though that may just be a nickname/short version of Alexia or something, but still quite cute/not awful), but the middle one is called Remi, blech!urgh, Collins for a girl reminds me of a family on IG who have a little girl named Rawlings. they also have other children, including boys named Wales, Tag and Bridge!
That is truly awful!Tuesdaii-Jade 🫠
I know someone with twins Elsie and ElsaTwins Emmanuel and Emmanuella swear it's the same name
Dont remember if I’ve posted it before… was in school with identical twins Amelia and EmiliaI know someone with twins Elsie and Elsa
All of those names are terrible for twins! A former colleague said she knew of twins called Côme ( an old French name, I think Cosmo would be the English equivalent) and Pacôme. Unfortunately, Pacôme sounds just like pas Côme, which means “not Côme”!Dont remember if I’ve posted it before… was in school with identical twins Amelia and Emilia
ha, i've definitely posted this before +but i met a brother and sister called Sam and Ella! not quite as bad as actual twins, but still...!Can’t remember if I’ve posted this before, but my mum knew of twins called Sam and Ella…
Do your Chinese names share a character? I know Chinese twins and their names both start “Wen”.I'm one of twins, my and my sister each have a legal name in Chinese and a different name we use in English - similar to "Hermione" and "Sarah" (i.e. very common name + longer name associated with mythology / classics.) I never really thought about it but over the years a few people have commented on it sounding a bit mismatched, I guess I can see where they're coming from lol
FFS, imagine being called Côme in an English speaking countryAll of those names are terrible for twins! My mum has a twin sister and they have the same initial, which was bad enough when post addressed to Miss S. Lastname.
There are 4 brothers in the block of flats I live in, and they all have names that start with A, which are unusual/obscure. Must be so confusing for them/their parents!
Family friends also have 4 children, 3 girls, one boy, and they all have identical initials, plus silly spellings for said names ( along the lines of Kameron instead of Cameron).
I find it funny that all of the Kardashian/Jenner ladies have names that start with K, except the brother, Robert!
I look after a brother and sister who have lovely classic names that work well in English and in French, and they start with the same initial, and I sometimes muddle them up!
They do in fact!Do your Chinese names share a character? I know Chinese twins and their names both start “Wen”.
This was in France, but yes, being called Côme ( pronounced like cone but wit( an m not an n) in English-speaking countries could be interesting!Do your Chinese names share a character? I know Chinese twins and their names both start “Wen”.
