I have met lots of people with names like this, i.e. names that seem like they are the shortened version but is their full name and I always notice people CONSTNATLY ask "is that short for...?" must be really annoying for them!

tbf i know a 25 year old called Ted and it really suits him and seems really grown up but his first name is Edward which was the sensible thing to do tbh!Adult names on kids freak me out. We adopted a Daniel. We changed his name because mum didn't want to shout that down the park!
That would have been cute. I like it when people call dogs human names. Kevin would be sweet too !
