New to the thread but just read this and thought wow.

Ladies, please do not settle for anything like this. This is just so disrespectful and shouldn't be tolerated even if others do! 🤢
Yes I agree and i should have stated that I certainly wouldn't tolerate it... but sadly some people do 😢

I've tried getting into emails but don't know password. He only has WhatsApp so can't get into that. I honestly don't know, he says first time but then again he must be very unlucky to be caught out first time. What gets me is I was so sure he was not that type of guy but his behaviour was so off the last month I knew something wasn't right. I've managed to sleep for an hour, going to try get some more so hopefully I can think straight. I've only told my boss so far as I wanted to change working arrangements later this week. I can't bear to tell my best friends yet 😔
I am so sorry you're going through this and I'm sending all the love and healing your way 💌 you don't need to tell anyone yet if you don't want to, especially if you feel that you won't get support. You deserve so much better than this and I really hope you find the strength and courage to leave him. If you have doubts about ending things, just think - why would you want to spend any more of your time investing in someone who can do something like this? Yes you've been together a very long time but you have a choice to start a new life and new story for yourself, do not settle just because you're scared of being alone.. surely you'll feel more alone in the relationship- how will you ever trust him again? Please know your worth. Of course if there's children / finances involved it can make the situation a lot more difficult but a plan can be made. Be kind to yourself, this is nothing to do with you and everything to do with him and how he feels about himself (negative).
You are worthy and enough! Do things that bring you joy, spend some time in nature, journal your thoughts and feelings down.. Plus we are here if you need a chat 💕 xxx

Tom spoke about it on a show ( it's on Google too) he slept with over 250 behind his wife's back 😮but would never leave her he was devoted to her and said she's most important person in his life ...look at Wayne Rooney and his shenanigans he could have set up home with any of they tarts he was with but he won't leave Colleen so she must be his true love even though he has done that to her 😢
I think they stay with the wives for security and use the excuse of them being the most important person to them as a form of appeasing and control.

It’s often a case of the wife fits in with society expectations or it’s better to keep what they have than leave. I think if the wife/partner/girlfriend is fully aware than it’s an informed choice. If they think they’re in a exclusive/commuted relationship and the one “cheating” is being deceitful. That’s where the betrayal lies with me….the lies and dishonesty. X

Same thing happened me with my ex he cheated and house was solely in my name I got a certain satisfaction from him being sent back to his mothers box room 🤣. Of course hes concerned about it being fully over not because hes sorry about what hes done but because he had a certain level of comfort hes now realised he has lost!
Am I right in thinking if married they still have a right to a certain percentage of assets etc?

There is a woman on tiktok and Facebook called the legal queen. She’s on the ball. I am not in a marriage but my sister has recently gone through a divorce with no kids. She is happier than ever and stayed in an unfulfilling (for both of them as over the years they wanted different things) relationship. It’s not going to be nice and it’s scary but maybe better to leave than live in constant mistrust. His actions do seem very calculated. He’s gone to but viagra and condoms…least he’s using protection. Wonder if his friends and their partners know. People may want o not get involved for multiple reasons including it casting light and doubts onto their own relationships. X

Not necessarily entitled if one person owned the house before marriage they would only be entitled to what they paid into the house for example if they contributed 20k towards an extension they would be entitled to that back but not 50%.

Resurrecting this thread as I can't sleep. I've been with my fiance for about 20 years and something's been off for a few weeks. He is just back from a golf weekend with his mates and I don't know why I did it but I looked in his wallet and bag when he went to bed. His wallet had Viagra (one used) which he appears to have got from pharmacy last week. His bag had a couple of boxes of condoms (one half empty). I am completely beside myself I don't know what to do. Our sex life isn't too great admittedly (I have quite a low drive) but we're so close as a couple (or so I thought). I know I need to confront him and kick him to the kerb but I'm scared about being on my own. Anyone out there got some advice?
Before you confront him can you get hold of his phone/email? Check his bank statements, emails, social media, phone records. Because when confronted, they normally flat out deny it, despite the evidence you've already got that seems pretty concrete. Did he even go with his mates? Can you get proof of that before you confront him?

I'm so sorry, this is truly one of the most horrible things that can happen to someone.

Firstly you don't sound stupid! I don't know, everyone makes mistakes. It's really hard, it doesn't mean he didn't love you back then. My best friend cheated on his bf when they were going through some problems and she says it was the biggest mistake of her life because she loves him so much.
But, I couldn't for the life of me forgive something like that because I would never trust him again. It would be too hard for me. Maybe ask yourself if you really forgive him for it? That may be why these thoughts are coming back now. I'm sorry you're in pain right now x
Hi thanks for replying, I totally understand people making mistakes I just feel his was a choice rather than a mistake.. I’m struggling to forgive completely it’s always there in the back of my head. It’s just so shit x

Sorry to hear this and I am no way sticking up for him but it sounds like it's just a sex thing he has with these other women but it's you he wants to be and stay with ...a lot of women put up with relationships like this and say nothing look at Tom Jones late wife he cheated on her all their married life but he wouldn't leave her
Hi, thanks for replying!, I do believe it was just sex there wasn’t a “relationship” type thing going on, oooh I didn’t know that about TJ😂 x

Hey love. That’s shit and I’m sorry you went through all of that. Did he ever give you any reasoning?
I believe in redemption but I don’t know if it’s ever full possible to totally forgive someone for doing something like this. It’s something I would really struggle getting over if it happened to me. I think often when this happens it’s very much a spur of the moment, impulsive decision made purely on temptation. People let these emotions take over.
Hi thanks for replying, he just said things were really strained between us, which is true I admit that however I didn’t fall into bed with someone else so idk 🤷🏼‍♀️. But you’re right about spur of the moment decisions x

I confronted him when his alarm went this morning about the Viagra so before I saw your post. You are right he did try to deny it but I deliberately held the info back about the condoms so I knew he was lying. He eventually admitted it, a girl he met on his boys golf holiday last month, they arranged to meet this weekend so the 'golf weekend' with his mates was made up. I was and still am remarkably calm considering he tried to weasel his way out of it at first. At least he hasn't tried to turn it on me in any way (I would have lost it). I've sent him to work, fortunately I have a day off to consider what on earth I should do. I'm shattered and lost, we've been together so long. Keep the advice and good thoughts coming 😭
Sending you some strength & love to get through this! What a scumbag. I will never understand how / why they do it.
When you feel ready 100% tell your friends and family, you’ll need their support through this and they might be able to help you arrange things for the future. I know when you’re in that headspace it’s hard to remember to even eat let alone plan a future / home etc.
You will get through it and you deserve WAY more than this!! ❤

No I haven't really got anywhere to go, looking at places to rent but everything is so expensive and I'm on minimum wage while he earns about 60k a year 🤬 I'm also not on the mortgage so that's a shitter. However bad we've been treated it's hard to imagine a life/home without them isn't it. I suppose we just need to find 'us' again instead of being mum, partner ect x
I’m so sorry please don’t worry even try your local council im with HA and was thinking of moving closer to family but he said if I done that he’d move in here but I’d be taking everything with me - here’s me worrying about the sky as it’s in his name and I can’t downgrade it don’t know how I’m going to manage I don’t even know how to be on my own after so long the house is quite and lonely when my sons in bed x

Update I got ghosted off the paramedic as soon as I mentioned I use crutches he cut contact… 3rd guy that’s done that maybe i should just be single forever clearly not good enough to be with anyone

I’d rather them be honest than just ignore me 🙁
Men can be real dicks sometimes. Not that it’s a good thing but I was ghosted by so many guys over a period of 8 years that I honestly lost count so I know how you feel.
It’s not a reflection of you!!! It’s them being selfish & arrogant and you don’t need a man like that anyway.
I’m now with such a kind caring & patient man but it took me 8 years to meet him.
Obviously I hope it doesn’t take you that long but the right one will come ❤

I honestly can’t do this my anxiety is through the roof I’ve not got any of my tablets until tomorrow he’s filling my head with all this crap this morning saying we could work on things then he’s through at her flat having a takeaway while I’m at home managing a few bits of toast without being sick my life’s a joke I’m a joke and I just need all this to go away and I need to do this every single day on of work and having my son to look after 😭😭😭

Just take one day at a time, one hour even. You'll get through tonight. I've just put kids to bed and I'm getting in the bath, it helps clear my head for an hour. You're not a joke! Never ever think that. Your good nature has just been taken advantage of, same as mine has. Let him have his takeaway (never know he might get food poisoning 🤭) he's obviously not happy or content in himself and I can imagine the feeling of having 2 women wanting him is a big ego trip he's obviously quite needy. What area do you live in? I'm Kent x

I’m not sure whether it’s down to her being his “true love”. I think some men (and women) just enjoy having flings and affairs, it gives them a sense of power and a sense of control. The fact she hasn’t left him after all he’s done probably boosts his ego. He probably wants to also save face and doesn’t want to be the man that left his wife and children. The public will forgive his affairs if she does, but they might not take the same stance if he leaves his wife and kids for some tart.

Honestly if a man ever cheats multiple times and doesn’t leave, it’s not about love, it’s about power.
Yes I agree...I should have put a ? after the 'she must be his true love'
