Cassandra is one of my favourite names, but I cannot get the Greek myth out of my head. A woman who was SA'd be Apollo (I think?) who then was given the curse of prophecy but no-one would believe her.Hero is a priestess from Greek mythology. She was coerced into shagging some twat called Leander, who lied his way into her knickers and then she killed herself when he drowned.
I think if she was alive today she would’ve been a mumsnetter.
The swan was Zeus in disguise wasn’t he?Aye, same with Leda, keep her away from the swans in the local park for god's sake.
Isn't her son called Apollo? Obviously a fan of Greek history and/or myths!Cassandra is one of my favourite names, but I cannot get the Greek myth out of my head. A woman who was SA'd be Apollo (I think?) who then was given the curse of prophecy but no-one would believe her.
I met a baby Beverley the other dayI know of two babies born this year named Mitchell. It’s not for me.
Only if they have the middle names Phil and Grant.I know of two babies born this year named Mitchell. It’s not for me.
I met a toddler Aldous a few years ago, (funnily enough his mum was called Hero). All I could think was that I bet his mates at school shorten it to ALDI.A friend of mine was an amateur photographer and was invited along to a local NCT group to take some photos and met a baby Ptolemy! Which may be the most pretentious baby name I’ve ever heard.
Bit like some of the patients in Broadmoor, so quirky isn't sheSo quirky! She finds horrors funny!
This, IME, is the sure sign of a badly-executed marketing campaign by someone who hasn't understood the brief. This made me laugh, someone was obsessed with jowls on the 23 of October
As you can see I clicked on two of them to see what it was all about. It was all about jowls from different usernames!
