Has anyone seen the thread on MN about someone wanting to make a Hinch hamper for their sister? Tattle gets a mention as ‘vile’, before the thread descends into posters calling each other wankers and bleeps. The irony!
Absolute madness that thread. And they have the cheeky to pull Tattle into it? Glass houses and all that.
On another note I think it’s odd to buy cleaning products as an Xmas present? The OP mentions getting ordinary cleaning products from Tescos and cloths to add to the present. I mean…. !!

If someone bought me cleaning products for Christmas I would disown them.. it’s depressing as tit. The 1950’s called..

Wow, tattle is the most disgusting hateful site I’ve ever seen. At least on MN you only get called a bleep if you deserve it.:D

The posts on the thread from people who are obviously Tattlers are actually quite funny, but ofc you aren’t supposed to s l a g Hinch off, you have to save that for the other posters apparently.

I know. I actually think MN is worse in that respect. Posters on here are genuinely funny and mostly respectful towards each other and save their ire for influencers who deserve it (imo) and don’t do it to their faces. Whereas MN is just a free for all, with everyone attacking each other left, right and centre. Even when someone is desperate for advice, they have no qualms about going for the jugular. They’re actually despicable but they’re so filled with self importance, they can’t see it.

You can’t express a different opinion on Mumsnet without sarcastic comments or being torn to shreds. Whereas on here, people are friendlier and mostly accept different opinions.

Tattle is one of the friendliest places on the Internet, people can disagree here without descending into chaos and name calling. It's literally the only place I participate because I really can't be ducked arguing with strangers on the Internet, I have a life 😂

It’s the only online community (other than the MSE forums?) that I can think of that aren’t centred around commerce & pushing you to buy something / anything.

I know there are ads on tattle but it’s the same sort of ads you get on newspaper articles, and you know they are ads so can ignore them. It’s not a Gordon’s gin brand partnership with the sex and the city thread or an undeclared ad with one of ur fav posters. It’s hugely refreshing tbh and has formed a big part of my ✨deprogramming✨ with social media and consumption!

Just saw this comment on a thread about little Arthur Labinjo-Hughes. Why do so many of them struggle to accept that some women are deeply unpleasant and psychopathic and can be abusers as well? They don’t need a man to make them act like that. Never mind that Emma Tustin had form before she ever met Hughes and had her children removed from her by SS 🙄

The first partner has addiction problems which basically explains all of her life story to date? Obviously don’t condone stabbing your partner to death and I’m not excusing it but we don’t know the circumstance around that. The trauma & chaos in her life is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone, plus the separation from her child which has since allowed for his murder, I do have compassion for her and hope she’s getting a lot of support and can turn things around.

The second partner was trash from day dot! She had two kids removed from her care prior to this and what reads like a number of manic episodes attempting suicide when partners were going to leave. The court said it about the dad prioritising his needs above Arthur’s, and there’s a few of these cases going on at the moment and it’s the same across the board.

Trigger warning child abuse - Disgustingly I think the resilience of these child victims to survive sustained abuse/brutal attacks give the parent a false sense of security that it’s not that bad so they don’t put a stop to it as they want the partner’s love and adoration, then when they’re finally murdered by them they scramble for excuses over coercive control and manipulation. duck off, bunch of bleeps they aren’t victims in the slightest.

The most bizarre thing with the Mrs hinch fans is the people with birthday / retirement cakes that are a collection of cleaning products:

I'd be tempted to pine myself if the most important thing in my life was cleaning products

Theres a thread on there asking if her parents are too much or is she being unreasonable because they keep turning up unannounced and recently they were trying to have an intimate moment when they peered through the door.. the thread soon turned into 'how and where did you have this intimate moment OP when you have a 5 week old and 5 children at 10am in the morning' and 'you keep referring to your other half as a partner not a husband, I hope that's just figure of speech'

Because according to mumsnet we must all be married before babies and only have sex once a month at 10pm with the lights off with our husbands 😂

I read a thread yesterday about people needing to stop letting strangers live with their children which turned into a dig about single mums who apparently have low standards, are gross for allowing a man to stay overnight in their child’s home and of course plenty of indulging in their favourite hobby - man bashing. A lot implied that every man is an abuser.

This was all based on what had happened to Arthur Labinjo-Hughes.

saw that. It was more to do with moving a new man into the home than one night stands etc - or at least the posts I read were. Kind of agree though, some people move on into new relationships far too quickly with people they barely know. Before you know it they’ve moved in their latest lover and the children have to live with a virtual stranger. Someone my husband went to school with, lovely woman, but her child is 15 now and has had 11 ‘dads’ live with them over the years. There’s no way on earth she knew them enough prior to living with them. Strangers in her child’s life just coming and going. And that’s not an isolated case, it does happen very often, by both men and women.

People are very great at hiding their true selves in the early days of relationships (look how much domestic abuse doesn’t begin until pregnancy, new baby or when a woman/man leaves etc). It’s unfair and foolish to live with a new partner before you truly ‘know’ them. As for one night stands with your children in the house, I personally wouldn’t and couldn’t understand anyone who does, but each to their own.

As for every man being an abuser; I don’t think that’s what they meant. I got the impression they implied that any man can be an abuser; like you can’t easily distinguish between the ones who’ll be abusive and the ones who will be amazing. So why take the chance with children in your home. So for this once, I agree with the mumsnetters 😮

I kind of agree that it’s not good for kids to have loads of different men passing through. Not saying don’t do it, but just make sure the kids aren’t there or likely to see it.
