Just had a mooch on MN for the first time in years as I'm trying to adopt next year after losing a baby this year, I can't put myself through the fear of another pregancy and I don't really want to start discussing this with mates yet as they're probably going to be quite negative about it.
Anyway what a fucking cesspit of transphobic cunts with literally nothing but stupid fucking opinions.
I'll stick to tattle, the fresh hell am I going to go there again.
I’m sorry for your loss my love, there are some threads on tattle that may be useful - there’s a baby loss thread & a TTC one too! Best of luck with your plans though ❤

but I have no legs, what do yiu suggest I do?’ Now obviously, that’s entirely different, but they do it every time, does it really need pointed out that they don’t mean them?
This made me actually lol. It’s so true.

We’re meant to go halfway across the country in a few days with a one year old for a wedding and I think we’re going to have to seriously consider if it’s worth all this risk. I don’t think we’ll get fuel unless husband is willing to wake up at 5 and queue for hours, and even then £30 worth won’t get us far.

The Prince Philip mustard prank brought out the joy suckers too. I am by far a Royalist but the way they go on, you'd think Prince Philip had clubbed their newborn.

And yes, I wish they would cancel themselves too.

That is the one I was thinking of when I posted:LOL:

Ah yes the ridiculous reactions - ‘I spat out my drink / I have tears streaming down my face / I woke up my husband laughing’
It was so obvious, it was literally the last word of a fairly long post! I mustn't have a sense of humour as I didn't spit my drink out at the hilarity of it 🤣

They don’t have to LTB, they could book a spa date and dump the kids with him to get back at him!
Thats my fucking fave😂😂😂 "OH drinks a lot and never looks after the kids properly"
First reply "book a spa weekend and just go and let him wake up to the kids" hahahahaa

Bluntness, pops up in nearly every.single.thread making out she's an expert in every topic imaginable. Can't stand the cow.

Also, mumsnetters love to moan about xmas gifts they've been given, but I've noticed the last couple of years the go to gift for their DH's has been an Ooni Pizza oven. I can't imagine their lovely DH's experience a rush of excitement unwrapping that! Especially as it probably can't even be used until about 4 months after xmas
Old Blunty puts a shift in on MN

Why are they so obsessed with trans/M&S changing rooms and drag queens on the feminism boards? Surely there's loads of more pressing issues to attend to than the one in a million chance of of being sexually harassed by a drag queen in the M&S changing room?
I don’t understand this either. The transphobia is off the scale there.

I don't actually spend masses as my kids are pre school and even if they only get one present from everyone, that's still a shit load of plastic crap in my living room. I've probably only spent 50 between them.
Little ones is totally different I think, save your money for when they're older x

The best ‘comeback’ according to 99% of Mumsnet is ‘did you mean to be so rude?’ Gets trotted out on loads of threads as though it’s the wittiest comeback in the world. Imagine saying that to someone who’s just intentionally insulted you. Lame.
Tbf it worked the one time I tried it, accompanied by deathstare, teenage son was being really arsey about going to the one place I'd wanted to go on holiday ended up with a shamefaced apology from him.

I don’t know. I don’t ever drink: I just don’t like the taste of alcohol!! But whenever I’m out I’m always in the minority - or even the only person not drinking. So much so that everyone asks if I’m pregnant, on antibiotics or have an alcohol problem! Nooooo, I just don’t like it! My vice is chocolate. I eat a family bar a night - ask my dentist!
I do drink but not very much, mostly because I'm always driving 🙄 but tbh not drinking is cheaper. People still try to pressure me into drinking, they can't understand how I can be in a pub for hours and not drink.
