I was so confused by that thread title because the aliens in futurama are from omicron persei 8...There's a post on the "Omicron found in the UK" thread from a poster blaming the pandemic on globalisation and how she wants to go back to a "smaller hassle free world of less international travel". Probably posted by a late 50s/early 60s mum who's already had a lifetime of holidaying abroad and doesn't mind denying the youth the same experiences just because she's "over it"

The ones who think forgein travel should he abolished are always the one who had travelled abroad from an early age and seen most places.
