I just imagine that like the scene in Kevin & Perry Go Large where Kevin says to Perry “They’ve only ever done it once” and how he thought his parents conceived himConstantinople is the product of the one time they ducked, but neither enjoyed it.![]()

I think she needs to call Woman’s Aid immediately about that one."AIBU: DH has said he wants to join his friends and play football once a week at the leisure centre"
"OP I am furious for you! How dare he have a couple of hours with his mates and spend maybe £10 of precious family money on himself? Get your ducks in a row and LTB"
"OP is it really football? Sounds to me like he's having an affair. Get to your mums house right away"
"What right does he have to do this? Doesn't he know that anything other than work time must be family time? Does he not want to spend all his time with you?"
"Be careful. He may meet some new friends with working class names such as Dave or Trev. Some of them may even be (shock horror) tradesmen"
Yes!! Was so gobsmacked by so called promiscuous neighbour wanting to ride share to football to get her claws into OP’s husband! Just wtfThe one about the husband car sharing with a woman is particularly amusing![]()
"Excited after a game of football, high on adrenaline and wearing shorts"Yes!! Was so gobsmacked by so called promiscuous neighbour wanting to ride share to football to get her claws into OP’s husband! Just wtftrust issues galore
You know her husband is probably so dull and unattractive you wouldn't touch him with someone else'sYes!! Was so gobsmacked by so called promiscuous neighbour wanting to ride share to football to get her claws into OP’s husband! Just wtftrust issues galore
What a stupid suggestion. Everyone knows she should take in ironing, sell stuff on Facebook and see if she has any necter points.Anyone seen the post where the OP can't pay her rent because her Universal Credit got messed up? She got the flat through a homeless scheme and there's quite a few posters asking "what about the father, Can't he help?" Surely they must know full well that if that was an option the OP would have already tried that?! Also, if she was previously homeless then unlikely there's some magical wealthy ex she's on good terms with that will be able to help her out. Honestly, what world do they live in on there? Some of them are just pushing for be Goss on why the OP is a single parent and what happened with the child's father.
Apparently used lightbulbs sell wellWhat a stupid suggestion. Everyone knows she should take in ironing, sell stuff on Facebook and see if she has any necter points.
And get 27 meals out of a single chicken. What a stupid suggestion. Everyone knows she should take in ironing, sell stuff on Facebook and see if she has any necter points.
Let's not forget that if a woman has been too scared, isolated and vulnerable to leave when her children were younger, her adult daughter is then told it's all her mother's fault the abuse happened because she didn't leave and the daughter should completely cut her off for the rest of her life (usually whilst maintaining a relationship with the abusive man as 'he's a good granddad'Exactly this! Obviously if a man is genuinely abusive and the woman is in danger then leaving is the sensible option, but like you say it’s not always black and white and when children and joint finances are involved it’s not always that easy.

Was my favourite line from her post![]()
But also the ‘my mum is awful and I’m struggling to have a relationship with her. She’s not interested in me and tried to slap me across the face after I bought her chocolates for her birthday’Let's not forget that if a woman has been too scared, isolated and vulnerable to leave when her children were younger, her adult daughter is then told it's all her mother's fault the abuse happened because she didn't leave and the daughter should completely cut her off for the rest of her life (usually whilst maintaining a relationship with the abusive man as 'he's a good granddad'buys the daughter and grandchildren things).
