Did anyone see the one about the breakfast grazing table? Dish of butter, toast rack, bottled milk, cereal in jars because they were brought up to NEVER have boxes of cereal on the table. Apparently this is to make breakfast time easier but sounds like more tidying up to me

hahaha I was reading that earlier. If the children are old enough to be going to school, they're more than capable of pouring some cereal and milk into a bowl. I was trained to make my mother a morning coffee at 5.

There’s currently a thread running on there about M&S Cafe now serving a macaroni cheese toastie with a side of chips and how disgustingly unhealthy this is because its ‘carbs, carbs and more carbs’, they then go onto say it’s no wonder there’s an obesity crisis, like people don’t have free will and shouldn’t be allowed an unhealthy treat once in a while. Whoever said on the previous thread that MN is effectively a pro Anna site isn’t far wrong.

Some people are far too invested in what other people are eating. The huns need to keep their beaks out.

My mother in law is so bad I think I'd be bullied on here for lying if I was to genuinely 100% be honest about the things she's done to my family and I.
I'd legit be scared to even anonymously tell anyone the lengths she's gone too as people would be like, "Oh look, that's the lying troll again" and I wouldn't even need to exaggerate mildly.
It's so bad I've considered writing a book but it's so unbelievable
I lost a baby this year about 12 weeks in, the night I was in hosptial having surgery she sent a video of herself dancing in a see through negligee to my fella.
He hasn't seen her for about 4 and a half years, but as soon as she found out I was in surgery, that was what she chose to do.
Doctors literally told my fella if they didn't operate ASAP my tube might bleed into my womb and she sent a video of herself fucking dancing.
Now, that isn't even a BLEMISH on the stuff she's done, but it's one of her more recent, "WTAF".

I understand some mil are crazy but on mn they're like 'mil is staying overnight and ate the last of the jam, how do I sort out this situation?' And then loads of people using the following phrases

Yikes. They’re cutting off their nose to spite their face with that - whilst they may find it difficult to move away from their default hatred of service workers it would do their child and their relationship with the nursery a lot of good to do so? Like ideally my daughter would drink from an open mouthed cup not a spout, but I’m not the one who has to clear up 50 spillages a day & change her repeatedly whilst also caring for x more children so I let them make the call that works for them. A spouted cup will not damage her. It’s showing respect for the nursery’s decision making & their members of staff which ultimately means your child gets better care as they’re free to do the shit that matters eg messy play or a walk to the park. They also don’t dread talking to you at handover so you get more info on how LO is doing.

Tbh I think this snobbery is just about status and feeling better than *someone somewhere*

It's all the outing hobbies their husbands do that will absolutely reveal their identity that get me.

I mean the massively outing hobby is usually cycling, golf or football, but for some reason they think its unique to their husband.

Theyve never had a really unique hobby like collecting and preserving dead ladybirds.

They also don't want to reveal their careers as they often claim to be the only person in the UK doing that work and it would also out them

Between us tho, I'd rather my fella actually did the ladybird preservation as opposed to the others.

Just had a look at the Toast jumpers. My great grandmother was very talented at knitting and she knitted similar jumpers us as children for less than £185.

We live abroad and miss our family, our parents and friends. Our two year old baby hasn’t met any of her extended family yet. Her grandparents would love to meet her.
I know it’s our fault for moving away, but streuth! Just because Deborah Van-Sandwich-Dougherty from Buckinghamshire has had enough of holidaying abroad now she has her wisteria covered cottage in the Costwolds to retreat to when things get tough, some of us actually want to travel!

Plus the amounts of posts the OP got in the thread I mentioned saying she shouldn't book a holiday in the middle of a pandemic despite her saying in her OP that she booked in 2019 is ridiculous.

There was one today where someone was asking if she was unreasonable to ask her friend not to bring her dog to her house as her daughter was scared of them. Loads of them told her she was unreasonable and she should just let the dog come and the daughter should just learn to get used to it! We're talking a two hour visit at Christmas and they thought it was worth stressing out a child in her own home because she "should face her fears" the more reasonable ones said she was well within her rights to refuse the dog and work on her daughters fears at a more appropriate time and place.

There was the classic show us your bedroom thread where someone posted a photo of a Parisian hotel room and claimed it was their bedroom even when it was revealed where the photo actually came from.

I also read that people were taking photos from property sites and passing them off as their own too.

I’m quite shocked tbh as you know the ones sharing images will be the braggiest ones too.

There was a similar poster who’s name escapes me, whose kids had SEN and she was the same. She was really fucking rude to other posters and everyone always excused it because of her background and said she had a point whether she did or not.

A lot of them were FB friends, when the claxon went off, you had no chance.
