There was thread the other day about someone who’d employed a plumber and he texted and asked her out. Got loads of replies saying it was unprofessional, creepy, misogynistic, report him! etc. (I was on the fence a bit, tbh, because I do think it’s a bit unprofessional).
However. Not so long ago, there was thread where a woman was asking if it was ok to ask out the guy who’d been and fitted her boiler and there were literally pages and pages of replies egging her on and telling her to go for it, this is the 21st Century!, please update OP!

I don’t know if it’s down to misandry or their absolute loathing of ‘tradesmen’. I bet if their divorce solicitor was asking them on a date after an appointment, that would be perfectly ok.
