I think the quicker your kid learns there's always someone out there who has more than you and to appreciate what they do have because there's always someone out there with less than you, the better!

They have farty arse part time jobs like knitting consultant, while their husbands work in the city and earn ‘six figures’ and they say they have a very happy marriage but the ‘DH’ is shagging his PA. Subconsciously they know this, but on the ‘He’s Cheated!’ threads, they’ll come on and give it Billy Big Bollocks about if their partner ever did that, they’d string him up by his arse cheeks and use his testicles for earrings. They wouldn’t.

there'll be a handful of posters that stand out in a thread for having a different opinion or a distinctively different posting style, but otherwise they're one and the same. Also a thread could run on for 30 pages and the last posts are still echoing the first. It's like people read the OP, immediately add their opinion without bothering to read the whole thread or at least a few pages. Quite often the issue is resolved and people are still offering pearls of wisdom! Unless somethings kicking off, then they never seem to move the discussion forward.

But the last thing she sold was her professional photography equipment (because that's more important than heating or light), and she chose to sell it for 10% of what it was worth after holding on for it for so long.
