She looks worn out! Maybe not having babysitters on standby is harder than she expected
They could have paid (lol!!!l) for an extra spot and brought a babysitter.....

If anyone is thinking of going to Lapland it's much cheaper to do it yourself. We had been quoted just under 6k for 3 nights for 3 of us which is scandalous.
We had been skiing in Lapland pre kids so kinda knew our way about. Rovaniemi is a v small city, most things are walkable so we booked direct flights with Ryanair and an airbnb in the city centre.
The Santa village is about 25 mins away by bus. There is a tourist office in the city centre you can pop in there and book activities etc. There is a sports arena too where they play ice hockey etc. And to be honest even the novelty of the snow is enough to keep most kids entertained!
Granted the package deals do include all the activities etc but depending on the age of the kids some may not be suitable eg we did a husky sleigh afternoon which is not really suitable for small kids so we will probably book a reindeer sleigh ride when we get there.
Definitely worth looking into it, obviously its still very expensive but it cost us about a third of the price we were quoted by different travel agents.
