Well I watched yesterday's vlog, obviously skipping the first part where she's lathering 10 different lotions and potions on her face😴😴. I ain't got time for that tit, but who the hell edited the bloody vlog😳. It cuts off in the most stupid places and then suddenly re starts again on a different thing...it doesn't flow at all, it's embarrassing. I think it's Burtayyy Boy that's been left to do the editing and because he can hardly see now his hair is over his eyes he's messing it up. Rebecca will be sat having her hot cup of tea and me time and just letting him get on with it🤔

Bertie is what, 6 months now? He absolutely shouldn’t be in the nipping stage still. It breaks my heart for Poppy that they’re not doing anything about it. He’s an incredibly boisterous dog and now he’s hitting puberty it’s going to get worse as he’s a bully (he’s obviously not aggressive). It would have been so (so) easy to fix if they’d trained him when he was younger. Doing it in his teenage phase will be a witch.

Poppy was in a pushchair for the morning exercise. She didn’t need a nap; she could have done with a run.
I’m a vet and it is still normal for pups to be nippy at that age as they are still teething for another good few months.

You juts know that when she says buy the whole lot and save yourself some money she really means buy the whole lot and make her some money.

Maybe it’s just me but I’d want to spend the time my husband was home to do nice fun things?! The housework can be done when he’s back at work and I’m alone of an evening or day time when school is back?

Regardless they should be telling him to stop, not just saying his name in their usual tone.

He’s very much still teething hence the nipping. They need to get toys he can chew on like a fallow antler or a hoof etc.

Haha I said she’d post something to show she bought it. Where are all the £55 Hush pjs she said she was buying? Must have been at least 3 pairs.

A vet whose only other activity on Tattle was to like a post from someone on another thread asking for more Scottish Beauty vloggers? Did you just trawl the thread looking for posts about Flogger’s nippy pets? Apologies if I’m wrong, but seems strange to me 🤷‍♀️

Surely a vet should be encouraging proper training not just saying the dog is still teething? It does actually chew on a hoof...Rebs as she comes down the stairs!! Oooh Bertaay! 🤭🤭🤭

Vets don’t encourage training. It’s not their remit. I’m shocked she didn’t take him to puppy training classes. But then am I shocked? 🤔🤔

Definitely! He is also nipping not biting.

They are still nippy, but we always yelped at our dogs (similar to the Mother dog) and it halts them in their nipping tracks. Every dog breeder/charity worth their weight would tell a new owner this.

As parents they shouldn't need anyone to tell them to stop the dog nipping at their kid! Their parental instincts should be immediately telling the dog to stop, but then this is the meldrums we're talking about, not exactly known for their great parenting skills!

Nipping/biting, whatever it is could (and does) hurt Poppy when it happens, isn't being properly addressed, failing to care for the welfare of the dog and the children by allowing it to happen. Brought puppies up along side all of my children, but not once did my they ever complain of being hurt to the face as we strictly trained and supervised dogs and children.
If they don't do it now and think its ok for a dog to "nip" their 2 year olds face, allow her to roughly play with the dog and leave them alone for periods of time, what happens if/when the dog does become aggressive? Excuse the term but they need to nip it in the bud now before it puts the poor dog and child at further risk! Poor grooming means higher chances of fleas and ticks, which can make dogs short tempered and poorly behaved. Their whole treatment of that dog screams laziness.

Said as a concerned parent and dog lover, not as a malicious, jealous troll.

My doggy was like this, his teeth were like razors, very painful if he decided to have to nip, but it is something that they grow out of, as long you teach them the right commands and praise them, but she/they will not.

My son fosters puppies to ready them for hopefully forever homes they leave at between 5/6 months only once had a puppy that was still nipping at this stage it’s not usual especially not on bairns he has 4 bairns from ages 3 to 13 that’s the whole point of him having the pups to socialise them he has been doing this for years only once did he have a puppy who they could not place with bairns sadly that poor dog was euthanised as she was biting hard my son was the 3rd foster home so there were already problems , a vet should know that pups first and foremost must not be nipping/biting anyone by 6 months !!

You seem to have misquoted me....I don't recall calling her a witch in that post.

Nonetheless, I bow to your superior knowledge. I've only had three puppies in my lifetime, and none of them were still nipping at 6 months because I taught them not to 🤷‍♀️. They chewed their antlers and toys.
