It means nothing (although it is useful to show new members) but the title ladder has been updated. There's been lots of complaints about threads going offtopic by people celebrating VIP. Also It was far to easy to get VIP as many were in a few weeks with less than 200 posts. So it needed to...

So there’s old vips like myself who have been here over 18 months get demoted and new vips been here since March and stay vips, to get to vip in 2 months they must of wrote Tons messages or Loads threads titles not really contributing to the thread by writing paragraphs. Totally unfair and if it doesn’t matter why change it. De railed thread. Sorry . It will never happen again.

I know I mean mine hasnt been demoted. Someone earlier was saying about being demoted but logging in each day and wondered if it was because of that. I think I quoted the wrong person Surely we don't lose likes so how can people go down?
