I think the original outbreak that was in the news a couple of years ago had an outbreak after a festival in Gran Canaria that was mostly gay men, however, it is clear that this can be spread from any human contact that is close. It’s irresponsible to say it is a gay disease. (Not aiming this comment at you btw just commenting in general about various media reports)
Many irresponsible things are said on a gossip site, it's not meant to be factual news. I wouldn't be here otherwise.
I often comment things I've heard here and there whilst listening to the radio in the background and if readers take that as factual news then that is their choice. If anyone's reading this DISCLAIMER GO TO YOUR USUAL NEWS OUTLET FOR FACTUAL NEWS and tattle for a mixture of facts and fiction 😁

Oh I’ve no doubt you have, what else would you be doing with your day. There is a link. I didn’t say it was the sole cause. I said there was a link. You don’t believe that to be true and that’s fine we don’t need to go back and forth on it.
I do plenty with my day, thanks. 😁 It was one hypothesis of many. They’re still not any closer to finding out the cause.

Sure I heard a news article say it's spread by gay sex. If this is true then why isn't this being made clear? Or is it? I don't seek news so not sure how it's being reported on.
It's spread by very close contact. So sex is one way, and it was a bit more prevalent in the gay community compared to others for that reason. But it's not a 'gay' disease 🙄 Of course kids can spread it too as they have a lot of physical contact, like they are prone to so many illnesses.

This is the second outbreak since covid, it was doing the rounds in 2022.

“Mr Kaseya said the continent needs more than 10 million vaccine doses but only about 200,000 are available.

"We have a clear plan to secure more than 10 million doses in Africa, starting with three million doses in 2024," he added, without saying where the vaccines would be sourced.”

Well can't wait for Lockdown.
Just make sure you have a second home to run away to which will make it easier.

Don’t forget to get your eyes tested now, whilst you can.

Also spare a prayer too for the celebs , crying in their £12 million pound houses. 😬

Didn't they predict a pandemic 2025? Little early, gotta hype it up first I guess.

Idk, I just don't buy this.
Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security released their report:

SPARS Pandemic, 2025-2028: A Futuristic Scenario for Public Health Risk Communicators.

Are they children who have been in close contact with men who have sex with other men?
It didn’t say how they acquired it only that it seems to be spreading amongst children that’s why it was concerning.Seems it’s airborne like COVID.

My honest opinion is it’s probably fear of offending or not being politically correct. Anything related to gender or sex is so controversial in this day and age where cancel culture is a thing anyone who says anything that one single person may be offended at is at risk of being ridiculed even if it is scientifically factual. This is where it gets dangerous though because it they aren’t putting out all the facts then it risks all those who are at more risk from accessing the right info and means they aren’t taking cautions they might otherwise had they been informed.

Thats why I think it’s so important that things like this are talked about, reported on and shared in a way that most people understand. It’s more important that everyone can access medical care and information that applies to them than it is protecting a minority of peoples feelings. Eg the nhs recently removed the words women/woman on the cervical cancer info page and that risks anyone who doesn’t know medical terms such as cervix from realising this could affect them and puts a barrier in the way particularly those who English isn’t their first language. Sorry for slight derailment!!
I don’t think we can afford to put peoples feelings ahead of public health tbh.

Africa supplies lots of fresh fruit and vegetables to the EU and to the U.K. from Brexit the U.K has imported more from Africa than ever before.
Is it found in fruit and veg ? I thought it was only meat (especially bush meat) that wasn't cooked properly .

That was one hypothesis of many. It has not been linked to lockdowns, it has not been linked to anything as of yet. They’re still investigating it with the most probable cause being adenovirus or a Covid-19 infection.
Ok boss, you know more than the doctors and scientists who study this for a living don’t you? 😉 let’s agree to disagree.

it’s the unborn child’s at severe risk , because of the long incubation period it would be hard to tell how many of the class were infected, as the Quebec school didn’t take any action there could be a lot of consequences from that, milder illnesses should be allowed to spread but those that have dire outcomes in the unborn have further reaching implications imo .
You could say the same about the risk of chickenpox, slapped cheek and even cold sores affecting the unborn baby severely having dire outcomes.
