Definitely it’s an absolute disgrace. I don’t understand who is happy to make these calls and sign off on it knowing they are risking so many peoples health!!I don’t think we can afford to put peoples feelings ahead of public health tbh.
Yes, the one thing guaranteed in life is death. Are we all gonna die or what?
I think the original outbreak that was in the news a couple of years ago had an outbreak after a festival in Gran Canaria that was mostly gay men, however, it is clear that this can be spread from any human contact that is close. It’s irresponsible to say it is a gay disease. (Not aiming this comment at you btw just commenting in general about various media reports)As I said, I rarely hear, read or see any news and the one time I did hear about this was when a radio presenter or a studio guest or whomever clearly said it was spreading through gay sex. I never said it was a gay disease. I also never said it was the only way it was spread.
That statement could cause WW3 on certain threadsThe amount of reports on this monkey business is getting a bit carried away for the tiny amount of confirmed cases. Would anyone seriously get the smallpox vaccine or lockdown or isolate for 3 weeks all over a mild illness?!
We’ll be clapping on the doors by next Thursday! Don’t forget to have your rainbow paintings ready

That's treatable with antibiotics nowadays .Black death!
That's right , but the other cases were unrelated , the 2nd and 3rd cases lived together , they had no connection to the first case. Not sure if I’m missing something but wasn’t the first case of it from Nigeria where he contracted it and then contact transmission happened once back in the uk
It’s an important factor if they notice a trend to the spread (in which they have as it’s men who have sex with men) then it should be mentioned. It would be irresponsible not to mention that! Covid didn’t appear to transmit through specific kinds of sexual intercourse.![]()

Most of those infected are men who have sex with men.www.livescience.com
There doesn't seem to be a 'trustworthy' source (such as BBC) covering this part but it's interesting as:

Monkeypox: Doctors concerned over impact on sexual health
Staff at sexual health clinics warn the virus is already stretching the workforce in many places.www.bbc.co.uk
I remember I read this article and knew straight away that sex was going to play an important part in this
I've also seen articles mention the sexuality of people who have tested positive for it which feels a bit weird, we never did it for COVID after all
Monga you should offer to work for the CDC. I didn’t even think of that. Was just thinking would we get a more severe dose as it's very rare here where as Africa have it circulating for a few years, it all but died out there till about 6 yrs ago so maybe their immune systems were able to deal with it better through exposure![]()
Yea the fact they’re offering to anyone is insane imo although I’ve never taken a vaccine in my life so I’m probably biasedAny wonder health workers are running a mile when they’re offered it
There’s a reason why it’s called the most dangerous vaccine known to man, I’d rather they’d try and contain the disease ( Monkeypox) as offer the cure

I wasn’t aiming it at tattle around the irresponsible comment btw. Many irresponsible things are said on a gossip site, it's not meant to be factual news. I wouldn't be here otherwise.
I often comment things I've heard here and there whilst listening to the radio in the background and if readers take that as factual news then that is their choice. If anyone's reading this DISCLAIMER GO TO YOUR USUAL NEWS OUTLET FOR FACTUAL NEWS and tattle for a mixture of facts and fiction![]()
