Hi, it's Amber from MeettheWildes here - I've been a silent reader for a while and I've learnt a great deal from Tattle generally, so I hope that you don't mind me making a rare post to share that I've apologised on Stories also (it seemed less attention/engagement-seeking than to dedicate a grid post to the matter, though I appreciate that it's not ideal that my apology has disappeared 24h after the fact). As it can't be viewed any more, I've attached it here.

In short - I made a mistake and a serious one. I do feel that the NMC should investigate clearly what Clemmie said, the context in which it was said and the broader issue of whether there is a conflict of interest between midwifery and 'influencing' but it was inappropriate of me to suggest that my following should also consider reporting her to her regulatory body. Additionally, I closed the comments - for a number of reasons that felt justified at the time, but primarily because I had previously enjoyed a whole insta lifetime of being completely uncontroversial, I didn't know how to handle my comments blowing up. They are now back on, though I do hope that I'm 'yesterday's news' because I'd really like to return to bumbling along uncontroversially.

I won't interrupt your private space again, but as I've been reading for a while there are contributors here whose sound judgement I respect and who spoke out against what I had said, I just wanted to make it clear that I heard, and that I'm sorry.
Hi Amber I think you meant well initially , I think the fact you owned the fact you felt you had made a mistake is to be admired , you do seem like a pretty grounded nice person .

Also mental health is big bucks in Insta these days. It's a real hook to catch those vulnerable mums. Recently I've noticed Insta mums writing and selling courses on 'reframing anxiety', 'perfectionism', 'being the nice girl'. These 'courses' are designed to be sold you a very very specific group of women, and they are not cheap! Often aimed at young mums, vulnerable, mums looking for Insta cred. What qualifies these Insta mums to write and sell these courses, is it ethical?

Jeez....bring back the twins as you’re dull as shit without them!

I don’t actually mean that as I don’t agree with him selling them so really he should give up altogether as it’s just too cringe!

MOD was right....he is a twat! Class A!

You had one job Hooper, to protect your reputation and it wasn’t even others who pissed it up the wall, it was YOU yourself!
No wonder they hate this site so much, we control their futures. This site provides a much needed balance to their gushing over begged crap though.

How many followers does Tattle have? I’d love to know!

The thing I find strange about this image, as someone who has studied art history a fair amount, is the position of Candice’s hand. Jesus is often depicted using this open hand gesture. They’re all surrounding her like she’s the new Messiah.... maybe she is the Insta second coming?
Yes all gathered around like she is some god I don't get it!!!!

I’m ashamed to admit what a tool I was and how much debt I got into 🤦🏻‍♀️
This is why instagramwankerfluencers need to be made responsible for what they’re doing. It’s massive at the minute about how it affects mental health etc and debt and yet no one is talking about it. Very annoying and frustrating to watch

I don’t know if the sofa to which he refers is in the sitting room!

He says when someone asks him “how are you” he “quickly resume our position on the sofa with our hands rammed firmly down our trousers as if looking for loose change”.

He says his dad taught him to do it or something. 🤷🏻‍♀️
Coming from a male heavy family, sat on the chair or sofa with hand down trousers is a default position. I think it's like a comfort thing. not actually doing anything other than resting their hand there. Usually tucked inside the waist band.

It's not as seedy as it seems you are trying to make it...

Re Mother Pukka I think the saddest thing for me is the way that she stuck up for MOD last time. I remember her posting on IG that she was a good person, she helped her through her miscarriages etc, and then she finds this out? That must have really hurt

what family though?! Maybe they've seen sense and left him.
I hope not, I would hate to see a family split and I believe that Clemmie has just as many faults as Simon does. Also, I don’t doubt for one minute that the pair of them love their girls very very much but I do believe that in many aspects particularly privacy that they have failed them.

I’ve said on previous threads but I fell hook line and sinker for all the instamum crap when my son was born. I have three Mama tops, my boyfriend has a Papa t shirt I bought, Tiba and marl nappy bag (which the zip has ripped the lining of), sleepyhead my child hated etc etc. I nearly bought that rug too

There are sociological reasons for this, how we socialise boys vs girls (for eg) and we as a society definitely need to make changes in how we raise boys and support men. But I can’t help feel there’s something ‘off’ about the presentation of men are the victims of X% violent crime when statistically, men are responsible for most of violent crime (on both sexes).

I’m going to say something that slightly defends influencers. Whilst I disagree with the likes of MOD and the ridiculous amount of freebies when already in a privileged position, there 1 or 2 of the fashion ones (40plusnotgivingupyet) that have helped me. Since having a baby I have so little time to go to the shops so being able to watch them to try ons and give opinions on stuff had helped me find my way with fashion again, they don’t do it in a grabby grifting way though so I’d soon unfollow if they did!

The gist of it was that people are less trusting of influencers now. Influencer advertising has possibly peaked and returns for companies aren't as good.

Proud to say I bought none of their tat. None of it!

But I have met several of this lot in real life and am and always have been extremely unimpressed by them.

Is the last line of that shit poem significant in relation to the four girls? Just him and them because his wife, and their mother, is still lying under that bus! He’s a cockwomble of the highest order and never have I wanted to punch someone in the face more than him. He should be standing by his wife and he should be including her, even in his desperate attention seeking. They are a business, they are a brand and whilst I don’t agree with what she’s done, at the end of the day nobody fucking died.....so she called him a twat....she was just being truthful 🤣

Just working on an essay at the moment and as I was scrolling I saw this in the NMC code. Thought that this might be what the NMC may challenge MOD on

I think we can all agree, he is nothing without the twins  Which is why this generation of IG/Youtubers milk their children for all they are worth. The Puberty years will be very interesting.
