I think the biggest point about this is, the ODs have millions of followers, MILLIONS and use it as a business. You have to show some integrity about who’s following and what you’re posting online. They chose this lifestyle, no one made them. It’s like in any job, you have to act professional and if you can’t, you’re more than likely going to get sacked at some point. This isn’t their personal instagrams where they’re pissed up on a Saturday night, this is to millions of people. All shapes, sizes, colour, religion, social class, financial class, political etc etc. They have to be more professional if they wanted to use it as a business, which they were. If me or you made a racist comment it would not have blown up like this (still 100% wrong to do so), but imagine your manager or someone you worked with? It would not go to press but there may have been some firing or very very strong words.

You’re making assumptions that the poster is a privileged white woman 🙄

Aggression is a character trait. CB is aggressive. As are some privileged white women.
I also completely agree CB is agressive.I am not a fan of Kelechnekoff either. I think my point is more about people (like me) saying the comment isn’t racist. There are a lot of people who do not agree with that - me included.

Honestly this is all getting bleeping ridiculous. Mod said a few things and it's a bit embarrassing, should be an oopsie light hearted moment at the end of the news or a sentence in a rag.

No ones been hurt, small accounts have milked it to get the attention they are desperate for and if any of these small accounts were hurt they need to private their social media for their own sake.

Meanwhile Candice is ignoring she was a pimp and the saconejollys are giving their children cold showers and Jonathan wrote a troll card saying he would mutilate part of his son. Then outside of social media there's the real world with lots of important issues.
I agree, it’s been blown way way out of proportion!! I can’t believe it’s made the national press -so ridiculous! Yes she said some stupid things but TMS (who drives me mad flaunting her luxury lifestyle whilst living in social housing in Notting Hill but that’s another story) and HM made it sound 10000 times worse than it was and have created this huge drama. It should have been sorted out privately. Yes she was very stupid and knows it, as does FOD. Plus she’s been too greedy for freebies and is so smug about it - it’s annoyed too many people now. If I were her I’d admit I’ve been a total idiot and got carried away, delete my account and just let FOD carry on earning the instacash. End of story.

This is why I think there’s more to it. But also with over 1million followers between them, they are ‘famous’. Everyone knows of them wrongly or rightly which is why it’s made press. They have more followers than some actually famous actors/ singers etc

Well, i am starting to feel a bit sorry for her🤷‍♀️. She appears to be the culmination of the social media
what the duck has this got to do with anything that’s happening now. Just another way to humiliate MOD. Enough now.
Agree. Everyone has done stupid things as teenagers that bear no relevance to who they are 20 years later. It is just another way to beat a person when she is down. She did a daft thing having a gossip/witch about work collegues and was found out. I do not think her midwifery career should be taken away from her due to this. If anything, she should use this as an opportunity to say i dont like what social media has turned me into and turn her back on it.
Its like lord of the flies with everyone and their granny getting involved in slating her and clambering to be queen bee and revelling in her downfall. What they are doing is just the same if not worse then what she did.

Maybe you’re right and there is more to it, as it looks it just seems crazy. To me Instagram it’s very like reality tv (which I don’t watch) it’s just something to entertain, a curated glimpse into lives, I don’t expect much of it to be real, especially the big accounts! So for it to blow up into a news story just seems so silly to me. I do wonder how on Earth she’s coping with it. Hopefully blocking it out and just being a mum.

What nonsense to suggest that those of colour can never be questioned on very questionable behaviour. One person stating another is aggressive, one person asking another why they think that, one person challenging another on actions is perfectly acceptable. No matter the colour of those asking or being asked.
If a person is challenging behaviour and stating that this is very ‘black’ or ‘white’ behaviour then yes this is racist. Simply challenging and questioning actions as human beings is not racist.

Exactly. I never said I don’t question her behavior . I have questioned CB’s behavior several times. Especially the fact she was running an escort agency and profiting from other people selling their bodies.

Did I mention her race? no...

Clemmie, however, said ‘CB plays the race card’

Would she have said that publicly? I doubt it because it’s a controversial comment likely to offend.

All I’m saying is that if she hadn’t mentioned race then these people wouldn’t be calling her out on it.

Whilst I agree that what she said about CB was racist and definitely should not have been said by a health care professional on a public forum, I do think that Kelechnekoff took it a bit far on her stories last night.
She was accusing MOD of bullying and ultimately killing black women.
What MOD said was ignorant and uneducated, yes. But it was one comment, about one person. It was not bullying.

The instamummies don’t have any bearing on real life. If what they put on those squares effects how you live your life then unfollow. Simple
New member. What a surprise. Standard just unfollow response. Bore off, the whole purpose of this site is to have discussion with people that you can’t otherwise have online.
I am quite clear on the difference between real life and Instagram. More vulnerable people aren’t. That aside there is discussion to be had regarding child protection, regulation and transparency. If you aren’t here for that then what are you here for?

This has opened a real opportunity for discussion as to why black women are more likely to die in childbirth. I seriously doubt the NHS is full of open racists who are deliberately neglecting their duty of care based on someone's skin colour. I think there will be multiple factors operating here and definitely an unconscious racism has been at play in some cases. It's a shame to end this chance for education/discussion and change by instead focusing energy on calling for retribution of Clemmie. (this is Not a defence post for mod Just an observation).

Also a lot of people are basing their reaction to fods answer of the basis that he knew what was going on. But what if he genuinely didn't? Yes he may post his kids lives on Instagram and it be morally questionable etc etc but plenty of people do, and the backlash is because of Clemmies comments not the posts of the kids.

I had never heard of her until she was mentioned on here so I viewed her stories and to me she came across very aggressive. She said something about if this was done to her she would find you and knock all your teeth out 😱.

She was going on about how MoD should lose her job and yes she was implying because MoD was racist then she would allow black women to die in childbirth. Did seem a tad extreme so I’m not surprised she was reported.

She also shared a comment by another supporter who said if this account is gone in the morning it’s through racism.
