Just about caught up on about 6 pages of this thread. The ironic thing about this is that those that have been ‘trolled’ by Clemmie are counting their lucky stars. It’s given them all a bit of exposure and they are loving every minute. All of them are up their own arses and I don’t believe for one minute that any of them are upset by the whole drama.

Wow! Finally caught up. I've lurked from thread one as have followed MOD and FOD for a long time. Can I just ask is the bit about MOD making up a fake son related to Mumsnet? I don't recall that on these threads.

The whole situation is just one big cluster duck. Probably the saddest thing is on FODs post tonight if its true that she didn't feel she could tell him about all this...if that is accurate it's a pretty damning assessment of their relationship. So disingenuous though to say that the gram is 'for fun'. No it's a business. Just be honest about it.

The only person I feel sorry for is their daughters who will either be reading all about this now or will in the future.

Also on a side note interesting to see MP doing an ad for a babysitting app that got lots of positive comments. I remember MOD doing one in the Crystal Palace days and getting absolutely hammered for it...she didn't do particularly well on her responses!

This has opened a real opportunity for discussion as to why black women are more likely to die in childbirth. I seriously doubt the NHS is full of open racists who are deliberately neglecting their duty of care based on someone's skin colour. I think there will be multiple factors operating here and definitely an unconscious racism has been at play in some cases. It's a shame to end this chance for education/discussion and change by instead focusing energy on calling for retribution of Clemmie. (this is Not a defence post for mod Just an observation).

Yes definitely. I think if her pin were taken off her, she would become a martyr to open racists and further alienate the number of HCPs that are unconsciously racist.

With her platform, making her unpick her white privilege and learn why what she said was so bad publicly could help teach so many more people.

Agree. Everyone has done stupid things as teenagers that bear no relevance to who they are 20 years later. It is just another way to beat a person when she is down. She did a daft thing having a gossip/witch about work collegues and was found out. I do not think her midwifery career should be taken away from her due to this. If anything, she should use this as an opportunity to say i dont like what social media has turned me into and turn her back on it.
Its like lord of the flies with everyone and their granny getting involved in slating her and clambering to be queen bee and revelling in her downfall. What they are doing is just the same if not worse then what she did.

She’s been found out, done a half arsed apology, I don’t think she should or will lose her job but we didn’t make her do it she did it because she wanted to, it wasn’t a one off comment it was months of comments. People deserve to revel in it a little bit, it’s a shock, people are outraged because she’s done something that she had been practically campaigning against it’s like being a hard core vegan but tucking into steak every night, she’s a big liar and she’s been found out end of it’s not a little mistake it’s a bloody big one

I think saying they 'deserve' to revel in it, is a bit weird to be honest. It just makes them look as petty and unprofessional as her, especially since it appears to be smaller accounts looking for followers. It makes them look quite undignified. Especially when bigger names, who were attacked more are keeping quiet I mean sure, be smug in your WhatsApp group privately, but effectively piling in makes you look quite bad too imo.

FWIW, I really don’t think FOD was in it. MOD posted when she was away on holiday and FOF tends not to get caught up in online drama. I’ve no doubt he reads what’s written about him but I really don’t think he’d create a fake name/profile to post under. I can honestly believe that she’s done this all off her own back, hence why he’s thrown her under the bus. I think he’s mega pissed off that she’s jeopardised those lucrative advertising deals.

Exactly. I never said I don’t question her behavior . I have questioned CB’s behavior several times. Especially the fact she was running an escort agency and profiting from other people selling their bodies.

Tbf I completely agree. I think she does use her race. If someone is aggressive whether they are white black or blue! It doesn’t bloody matter. Why do we have to tip toe around someone’s personality traits because of their skin colour? It’s ridiculous.

I’m not sure that’s wise. I don’t see how it would make sense to keep the dog in the car overnight, the risks of mess and someone calling the police are far too high for them to do that.
