Oh no. We had a small area tiled Recently. Was about £250. She can afford thousands on a bag but won’t pay £250 for a proper finished tile.

Ans it looks bad, it’s wonky. It doesn’t suit the kitchen. Another manic episode

All this could potentially be avoided if she was on the right medication and/or worked an actual 9-5

She does all these DIY projects but half arses all of them. I have never seen tiles put that way in my life. They look stupid. She’s done half a job because she didn’t want to cut any.
she has the time to learn to do these things properly if that what she wants to do.
I bet her husband dreads coming home everyday to find out what she’s done next.

It's the doing it on an absolute whim that gets me.... who wakes up and thinks 'maybe I'll tear the kitchen apart today!' She didn't even put something down to protect the ceramic hob.

Blimey ....the tiling!

I personally cannot wait for her to take the laminate off the cupboard doors...... 🍿

I’ve seen the vertical tiles in bathrooms, but they tend to be a longer, narrower style of tile.

She’s gone to B&Q for the cheapest subway tiles at £11 for a box of 40 and put them on poorly. I don’t see how the style is in keeping with the rest of the dining space, whatever that’s ended up as.

Yes, this! Ive been doing a few DIY jobs but they are taking ages as the prep takes so long that I only get a bit done, then tidy away again etc I am on a few Facebook DIY groups and wonder how people do whole rooms in a weekend, now I know, they do it the Mik way, no planning or prep. Probably looks good for a month then starts falling apart. Those tiles with that much adhesive are going to rip the plaster off when they get removed. She didn't even plan the tiles out. My dad tried to teach me tiling when we did our bathroom. There was a lot of spacers, wood battens and planning the tiles to avoid awkward spacing and cuts. None of that happened! She was shuffling the tiles about after sticking them on FGS!
All this and she says it's school holidays so Milo just left to his own devices all day.

Milo could probably do a better job of those tiles. When we had our bathroom tiled there were 2 professional tilers and they took a lot of time and care to get the walls smooth and the spacing right, laying the correct amount of adhesive, grouting properly etc. She's making a mockery of people with real trades.

Yep, she could have taken him for a day out somewhere, which would also have kept her busy and taken her mind off her back. She's lucky to spend school holidays with her kids and it's sad that they never go anywhere.

It looks like a public bog. There is a reason why tiling is a very specialist trade when done properly. And that crappy £10 tile cutter. There is no way that would get the job done

Our tiler took 7 hours to do a small section because he measured everything to make sure it was all cut. All followed the pattern. Finished neatly with a trim. It looks amazing I must say! 😂 white subway. Light grey grout white cupboards. I’m in love 😻 there are some things you just shouldn’t scrimp on

love how she didn’t even bother to clear the surfaces before she started working. The other side of the hob was still covered in bottles 🙈

Do you think she's going to degrease, sand and prime her kitchen cupboards?! Or just go straight in with the paint? It's not a job I'd go straight at and probably needs a decent prep and prime rather than strip the laminate off.

Reading you guys comments you kinda think it cant be that bad b4 watching but woah. What on earth has she done? How is this better then before? Her cupboards now look bright -i smoke like a chimney - yellow against the white cheapo tiles. She couldnt sell her house before when it was 250,000 and a blank canvas for anyone to do what they want. How is she going to sell it now she is butchering the property room by room?

the tiles just look wrong how they are laid out. I dont think they suit being how she has put them, they need to go across like a brick effect dont they? They just dont look right how she has set them out. If I was Lee coming home from work and seeing that id be having a row tonight, its a right state.
