Mark Wright on Instagram: "Ok, it’s been a tough call whether or not to speak about this. One part of me wants to keep something like this private and the other part is thinking, if I can help/potentially save 1 person, well…. this is the right thing to do. So here goes. I discovered a lump in my breast/armpit area. Not very big, but enough to cause concern and to be cautious enough to get it checked. I saw a doctor who passed it on as “a fatty lump that doesn’t need any treatment” so I just left it. After some time the lump grew and began to bother me. I am someone that when it comes to life in general, I leave no stone unturned. When it involves health, this idiom quadruples. I saw another specialist who happens to be a breast consultant for a second opinion. He was certain after seeing an ultrasound scan that it was a LIPOMA (a BENIGN soft tissue tumour) however with it being rather large, he had a tiny bit of concern that it has/could turn in to a SARCOMA (a cancerous malignant tumour) However he was not 100% either way so to be more sure I had an MRI. From the result of the MRI, still this consultant did not want to rule out the worst because of the speed and the size of the growth. At this stage I moved on to a SARCOMA specialist. This specialist saw the scans around 10 days ago and today I was in theatre having this little git removed. His fast and incredible turn around was due to the fact he did not want to leave it any longer and wanted it out to prevent the rare risk of a LIPOMA turning into a sarcoma overtime. He also could not 100% confirm by the MRI that this was definitely a benign tumour and not something more sinister. The tumour will be sent off for further testing just to be 110% sure but this top doctor is certain from his incredible experience that we have done the job and there is nothing sinister to worry about. So I’m all good 👌🏻 MORAL OF THE STORY: If you notice anything that doesn’t look or feel quite right. Don’t leave it. Nothing in life is more important than your health and well-being. Get checked, check yourself and make sure you take good care of yourself. 💙"

The statement is really good, well written by his team but who decided to put 'idiom ' in there! As if he knows a word like that!

RAISING AWARENESS which used to be called seeking attention. Fair play that he RAISED AWARENESS of man boobs also as I would not have thought that men needed to check them.

Now I feel bad about thinking he is such a toss piece with his ten days of trauma. ITV will have been filming it all

Definitely! Men can get breast cancer too so I am glad he is using his platform to spread awareness

she won't share it because they know its just excess fatty tissue as he has mentioned, not downplaying it (had a similar scare many moons ago) but I dont think he wants to raise awareness more than raise his profile-sorry I dont wish anyone ill health but this narc annoys the hell out of me, you can see by old photos of his traps ( circa im a celebrity) that he was no stranger to assistance and that might be the cause, bet he doesnt feel the need to raise awareness around steroid use

I definitely dont imagine him to be a lovely person after watching him through the years. Sure, he has the gift of the gab and is charming in that in your face kinda way , but we watched him tell all sorts of girls what they wanted to hear over the years. & watched him bare face lie to Lauren,Sam & Lucy to get himself out of trouble.. And if theres any truth in the rumours that he cheated on MK with Lydia Brights cousin well then he clearly hasn't evolved beyond his "top shagger" image. And do we really believe he was faithful while in America?? With his track record?? Nah.

I still always think that he treated Michelle like such a challenge!! And then when she actually gave him the time of day he stuck the claws in 🤣 always think it’s weird that she was so public with Max George but is the total opposite with Mark it’s like she knows he’s bad for her “image”

I did wonder about that. Have seen lots of lumps and boils and infections around juicing up sites. You can be sure that no awareness of the dangers of steroids will be raised! He must be limp as a bizkit these days.

Funnily enough, steroid use often causes excess tissue growth which compact in lumps.

A lot of steroid users inject under their arms to make any bruising or marks more discreet.

Strange eh…
