Oh whoops, good to know. At least a tea towel is cheaper than buying an expensive cooling mat (chances of her lying on either slim to noneDon't drape it over her, encourage her to lay on it. Draping traps the heat (vet nurse)
Oh goodness, I hope you're okay now.I ended up fainting on the living room floor. One minute I was talking to my housemate and the next I was on the floor
I usually walk 2 miles to work in the afternoon get my steps in ....but not in the heat no can do !I don't even like being at work at the moment but I'll be grateful for the AC tomorrow from 9am - 5pm.
Apart from going on holiday I don't think I've ever shut my bedroom window or any of the upstairs windows. Makes me feel claustrophobic.I have the window shut and it's wonderful.
I agree, if the forecast is still saying 34 Monday and Tuesday by the weekend, I don’t think kids should be at school on those days! It sounds silly but for the UK with our infrastructure and way of life, that’s far too hot for kids to be stuck at school!Todays not too bad. A few of us mums at our school were saying we would rather kids be at home if it hit 34 like it’s meant to on Monday/Tuesday. Our school is a old building and at least at home we can have them in the pool and keep indoors cool for them
I'm heat intolerant tooI’ve got pots, I’m heat intolerant, I’m suffering and I’m cranky
