It isn't nuts. I sometimes look after a colleague's cat if she's away for a few days and I film myself checking that the cat is definitely still inside and that I definitely locked her door. I feel like if something helps you get through the day then no one can judge you for it.I do the filming thing too. Iāve never been diagnosed with OCD but I notice a lot of the traits fit me. I take a photo of my son on our way to nursery every morning and a photo of the car park while Iām walking out because intrusive thoughts tell me I havenāt dropped him off and I donāt know where he is. (Obviously I know I have but it helps having proof. Iām aware that sounds nuts)

Iāve just been catching up while my cat is at the vet having fluid drained from his lungs - his cancer is really taking itās toll on his little body, and my heartās in a million pieces. But all of you wonderful beauts have made me laugh so much. Sending much love to everyone who gets up each day to fight the battle with mental illness and neurodivergency - itās bleeping exhausting and youāre all warriors
