Just watching it and I think you have a point. Is it the wrong shade for her?I feel terrible saying this. But i didnt notice a difference with her amazing concealer
Because the next gifted sofa is always around the cornerwhyyyyyyy do influencers insist on getting pale sofas/chairs when they have pets. i do not and will never understand.
Reckon she'd hate to spoil the aesthetic. She seems like she's like that.I don't really understand why if you're going to let your pets up on the couch just put a blanket down or something so they can sit there and protect the couch (especially given it's a pale colour). There's also loads of dogs beds that are designed to be draped on a couch too that she could use but I guess it's probably not aesthetically pleasing enough. I always think that living room always looks like a really uncomfortable place to be - they must strain their neck looking up at the television the way everything is angled.
So great to see you here again, oshare! And thanks so much for all the tips and sharing your experience, you should be a sustainability influencer! I know who I’d prefer to watch out of you and MadsI was finally able to catch up with the previous + this thread!
I want to say to the person talking about the cauliflower and cashew things:sorry i don't understand why you apologized honestly, i thought your comment was very kind and helpful actually and you made it very clear that you were talking about your situation! I really enjoyed reading your suggestion! I have heard about people using cauliflower in recipes to make it creamy actually! Also for smoothies and such to bulk it up and to add nutrients, so I really enjoyed reading this. You were talking about dollars so I'm assuming you are from the USA? Here in Europe cauliflowers are crazy expensive at the moment due to weather issues (first it was too hot to grow cauliflowers and recently it's too cold to grow them!) so they are extremely expensive. In my country cashews are expensive as well though (the cheapest I could find was about 8 euro / kg, for the broken bits but that's when you buy like a 25 kg baghelp). Another great option could be adding some white beans or so. Obviously everything has a different nutrition (fat, protein or vitamins/minerals) but depending on your preference there is a lot to work with and I really like that you shared your options. Personally I quite enjoy using pumpkin or swede (rutagaba) in soup to thicken it up or if I don't have any (or don't want to) I'll use something like guargum (apart from fiber no nutritional benefits lol).
Long story short: thanks for sharing and I hope you will continue to do so!
I don't understand why MO is so obsessed with buying things just to buy. It doesn't make sense. Why would you fill up your house with so much clutter that is completely meaningless? And then do at least 3 declutter videos? You just put it there!!!! If you didn't even get it in the first place there was no need to declutter now was there?? She's creating things to do that don't make it easier for her. Like she's creating work just to have something to do but in the end what is the purpose? Her life is just so empty she has to fill it with useless things and then when she gets overwhelmed she has to declutter. She should take a breath, calm down and relax a bit. I just can't understand people living like this.
Also people here were talking about the gigantic amount of food she has at home. It is true that a lot of food banks are very strict with the things they do/do not want to receive. The food banks in my country have a big shortage as well, but when people offer things that are not ~according to their rules~ they don't want it, not even as an extra which is sad because they could just offer it as an extra for whoever wants it when they come to pick up their box. But okay, rules are rules, I get it. But she could still post it on Marketplace or Facebook for people to pick up for free? Last year I got some small items from my friends for moving to my new place and although they were extremely kind to give me all vegan items, there are some items that I can not eat because of my food intolerances. My family also didn't want it so I put them up on Marketplace I gave them away for free. It's really not that difficult, there are always people in the neighborhood who want some free items. She's just too greedy and selfish and doesn't want to share.
It's so sad to see really, for someone who has it all to not be able to share some of the wealth. Meanwhile lots of people who barely have any food or anything still find ways to share and give to others! Makes me so sad.
I also don't understand why she recommended people to buy jars from amazon and a label maker. Sure a label maker can be great but you can also just use some tape and a pen? lol.
Before I moved I asked my parents to start collecting jars for me and they also eat a lot of ice cream from Aldi or Lidl that comes in very hard plastic containers. They are amazing to use to be honest: you can put them in the washing machine, and re-use them extremely long. I use them to freeze soups, vegetables, cooked beans, cooked rice, cooked quinoa, fruits... basically anything. But I also use a couple of store things in my drawers (like pens, tape, some first aid stuff lol), to store cleaning soda and other household items. To others it may look a bit weird seeing a random ice cream container somewhere but I'm just so used to it because my parents used to do these things as well. Saves so much money and saves a lot of waste as well!
My family also saves the plastic bags for me that they get when they buy bread (the ones they buy are cheap and don't come in plastic free options). I re-use these plastic bags for all kinds of things as well. My mom actually does the same. Also great to re-use when you need to freeze something that won't fit into a container.

A few of the jars I use for nuts, beans and seeds (I have many more but not in the picture). I also use them for the filter coffee btw, but also for things like coconut flakes, cinnamon(i always buy large bags because it's cheaper and i use it a lot), spices, tea bags, rice, quinoa... anything really.
I also recently made my own laundry detergent, I use the jars for that as well:

And here are some of the ice cream containers I was talking about and on the left (in the tall container) I store a whole collection of plastic bags from the bread my family buys

Sorry for the long postI just get frustrated and upset and very passionate as well talking about sustainability! So i tend to ramble a lot~
sounds too much like victim blaming. Just because it is expected doesn't mean it should be hushed away and accepted. Being on a public forum or a public figure doesn't mean you should take abuse or mockery silently. Quite the opposite. Bullying is unacceptable. And regarding the pregnancy comments, personally I absolutely hate that type of thing and think it’s such a horrible thing to say especially when you have no idea the struggles someone might be having behind the scenes with their fertility, but I think Maddie puts far too much focus on them. It’s like she’s shining a beacon towards the horrible comments she gets but I’ve never seen her share any nice comments? And she wonders why she keeps getting them.
I definitely didn’t mean for it to sound like I’m blaming her, so I apologise for that. I see now how it comes across that way so thank you for the call out, I’d never want to be seen in that light as a victim of bullying myself (as I’m sure most of us are.sounds too much like victim blaming. Don't apologise, it's your opinionI definitely didn’t mean for it to sound like I’m blaming her, so I apologise for that. I see now how it comes across that way so thank you for the call out, I’d never want to be seen in that light as a victim of bullying myself (as I’m sure most of us are.
Obviously bullying in any context is unacceptable. I just wonder if her putting the person on blast is the most constructive way of dealing with it.To be honest, there should be more that influencers can do about people leaving horrible comments about them on their own social media. Society hasn’t got there yet, but with all the new YouTube restrictions around swearing and certain topics, perhaps they will one day make it easier to get rid of bullying off their platform. But at the moment, all you can do is block them and block the words you don’t want included in your comments, and I just question whether the power dynamic of putting your followers towards hate comments is a great idea, knowing how easy it can be to potentially dox people and put them in actual physical danger. It’s happened before, so we can’t know it wouldn’t happen again, and that was my main point (that I said very poorly).
Once again, I’m sorry for the way I said that. I’d never wish bullying on anyone or want to make someone feel they’re bringing it onto themselves.
