It said it was left on the front desk where you went up to male a booking, so anyone waiting to make a booking etc could see it.

I think all psychics are charlatans. If they get something right it is due to prior knowledge or sheer luck.

I’ve had mixed feelings on them but I think I feel the same about them really. I don’t really believe in 6th sense stuff (I believe in gut instinct but I don’t think that’s the same). They’re a bit like magicians, you know it’s an illusion but you still enjoy the show. The difference I guess is that some people get really taken in by them and think they’re legit. Don’t even get me started on crystals
This is what doesn't sit right with me all these other parents of missing children have been torn apart by what happened to their child .Sarah Payne's dad drank himself to death ,the Bulger's marriage fell apart but the McCanns just picked up where they left off .It just comes across as surreal that any parent can act they way they do

You have to remember that the apartment the family were staying in had a door that backed up to the side of the street. It's quite risky to draw a car up and be seen picking up a girl who could be sleeping or distressed and putting her in the car to then drive off with her but it's not impossible. Within minutes they could be on their way to the Spanish border.
Looking on the PJ files site, apparently a girl went missing the next year (2008) locally and was found a few months later. The cause of death was asphyxiation. I highly doubt though that it was the same killer/kidnapper as Maddie's as they did good in hiding Maddie.

And the woman who saw a man walking to the sea with a child.. Doubt it's Gerry as his face has been so widely known that the woman would recognise it.
I was reading the PJ website and Gerry got some emails off of a person from Amsterdam or with Amsterdam in their email. They were saying that they knew dodgy people in the area and had info on Maddie and to act fast because the people will harm her as time goes on. They threatened Gerry with money wanting €€€'s and the person themselves admitted they were a crook. I'm sure it was some nutter who really didn't have any info, but I agree that a member of the club could've said in passing to a seemingly normal person oh some children have been left alone in apartment 5A at night as we got complaints of a child crying.

People experience things differently. Maybe they felt they had to remain stoic against all the accusations the press and public were throwing at them. They had two other young children to think about, and that doesn’t take away from the fact that they let Maddie down (or that these other parents of missing/murdered children had similar responsibilities). It’s tricky. We don’t know how they’ve been reacting when out of the media spotlight, only what we see of them in the press. Maybe that’s when they let their actual grief out, people react so differently during times of grief and trauma. I’ll say one positive thing about them though is that they’ve managed to keep the twins out of the spotlight. They do not need to be caught up in the middle of all that.
Really agree with this. How do we know how they act 24 hours a day 364 days a year? How do we know what their relationship is like? Have you seen unbelievable on Netflix? The girl was seriously sexually assaulted and because she didn’t act the way she was expected to the police, her friends, her family didn’t believe her and she got charged with lying to the police. Years later photographic evidence emerged of the attack. There is a whole section in the book version of it about trauma and how there is no one way to act and how people can react very differently to it.
I did watch Unbelievable. I can’t believe how much that girl was failed all because she didn’t react the way that people expected her to. There is no one way to feel/react to a traumatic situation. I think people get so caught up in what the media put out there, or what other people divulge, that it comes across like Chinese whispers. I wish we knew the absolute truth.
