How bizarre. What’s it got to do with me?

I’m interested in the evidence. That’s it. In my opinion the evidence points to the McCanns. I couldn’t care less about this horrendous guy.

“Hanging around the area” is only circumstantial evidence. So is being “an actual proven rapist/utter rum of the earth type”. It’s not enough to charge and convict. That’s trial by Daily Mail and it sounds like that’s enough for you.

For me and many others though, that isn’t justice for Madeleine. If they have enough evidence to charge and convict CB, great. It just strikes me as more than a little bit odd that after 17 years, millions of ££ and police investigations in numerous different countries, and more recently 4 years’ worth of news about how CB is definitely the guy, the only shred of evidence found has amounted to an email.

seemingly there is no email, it was a British journalist who chose to mis represent what was discussed in the CB trial at court, wether this misrepresentation was an innocent error or done on purpose is up for debate, please see post 911.
it just seems like there is a need at all costs to by some to nail a patsy in this case and they are failing miserably!

Because this would interfere with charging them for murder I think is the reason. Neglect allows there to be an abductor.

personally I don't think them being a cardiologist and a GP is at the heart of how the media treats them, I believe there are other powerful factors behind it all which has made the media treat them the way they do,

Of course, sorry, I agree. I just meant the powerful people bit. I think Gerry had government connections with his advisory role to COMARE at the time. Also lots of unsubstantiated whispers about Masonic connections and being on the phone to Gordon Brown personally early into the investigation. He definitely knew the right people.

I read last night the first person GM called was someone called Alistair Clark who was a friend and diplomat who was close to Gordon Brown, source was a Portuguese newspaper, according to an article which appeared in the Guardian ,it states that Jill Renwick on the 4th May 2007 mobilised the McCann's wider circle of friends, this led to phone calls to GMTV, the CID, Defence secretary Des Browne and Newsnight presenter Kirsty Wark, she also stopped John Brown brother of the Prime Minister who lived in the same street as her and asked him to bring it to the PM's attention, to add Gordon Brown wasn't PM at the time Madeleine went missing, it was Tony Blair,

to add it was Tony Blair who sent Sheree Dodd and Clarence Mitchell out to PDL, also what is interesting is that the then Home Secretary was John Reid who resigned on the 6th May 2007 was not expected, Gerry McCann had previously worked for Celtic Football club before moving down south, guess who went on to be the chairman of Celtic Football Club John Reid

It's an even smaller world when it comes to Scotland which may have a similar population to Denmark but is smaller than London. The legal, financial, political, artistic, media, sporting etc circles are all interconnected.

They are a huge part of the sporting life of Scotland and are linked to several politicians who are/were supporters, as @da1sycha1n mentioned, particularly John Reid. But then on the other hand you could also expect for someone who has lost a child, how they could also be very unsympathetic and even disgusted with the McCanns who left their 3 very young children alone night after night whilst they dined out with friends for anything to happen to them. It’s still insane to me that they weren’t charged for neglect. Authorities lost their damn minds thinking they’d be vilified for punishing the parents who paid the ultimate price but if she truely was abducted when the whole thing could have been avoided by being at your hotel room looking after the children you chose to have (even having ivf) as is your responsibility and chose to take them holiday (and then dumping them in day care all day), or put them in the crèche / hire a night nanny or whatever the service was that was available at their hotel.
it’s awful that an innocent child has undoubtedly died but the endless public funding poured into finding out what happened when the parents are so largely at fault whatever the real story was is so unjust. Has any missing person ever received as much public funding into an investigation as Madeleine has? How was this ever permitted? There should be a public enquiry. If individuals wanted to donate towards private investigations that’s on them but why should public funds be so heavily distributed to 1 overseas case over countless others.

Gerry's Mother, Brother and 3 sisters all lived in Scotland, seemingly his Brother said "we called in a few favours"
Just to say that's me received the book I ordered on the case, written by Bernt Stellander, called THE SUDDEN IMPULSE, the book is big with over 800 pages, so I'm going to be busy, for anyone interested in this case I urge you to have a look on the Jill Halvern forum, and specifically look at threads associated with the above author and book, Peter Mac a retired Police Officer who has written his own book available free to read online, has done a review of the above book he is impressed,

I’m only stating the rumours around how Gerry and Gordon were linked.I’ve no idea what goes on in that organisation but I know a lot of the Orange Order are Freemasons and they definitely collude to cover abuse.

You’d be very surprised what goes on in that organisation but my point was Gerry rumoured to be a Freemason.
