Well if Hadassah is counted one of her fans I dare say a good amount of her new followers are still not quite adults, think a good number are fresh out of uni and new to working life hence she still qualifies as “aspirational”... the ones who have followed for years I think have graduated into an epiphany of how ridiculous her channel is. I watched for years and never commented, found her annoying but still liked to watch as a mindless pastime from a hectic day job as a lawyer. Liked some stuff but disliked her lameness, too busy to comment.

After leaving busy practice life and have stable hours i sometimes watch her videos bc I actually have time to shop and just use it as a means to browse what’s trending and just can’t anymore... now I no longer bother watching but having read gg for ages and now tattlelife which has entertained me all these years... Just had to jump on the train!

In lieu of Ali's latest fall from ASA grace, it got me thinking how these two morons are peas in a pod.

In her "SOME THINGS TO ADDRESS" vlog on September 19, 2019 Lydiot blabs [20:15] on about how she "forgets" what she is gifted and doesn't care about it as a consumer.

This is the problem with Lydiot. It's irrelevant whether she cares on any level. "Some people do really care" and those people are the regulators that govern your industry –– you imbecile.

Your failure to comprehend that inner conflict of yours has no relevancy. Imagine if other industry professions made this excuse. No one cares what you can't quite wrap your dim head around.


It should be Lydiot's highest priority given it is a very high priority for the CMA and ASA.

In the UK, the CMA is pretty clear about brand sponsorships and endorsements. "People need to know if influencers have been paid, incentivised or in any way rewarded to endorse or review something in their posts. It’s important that they make this clear to their followers. This includes when a product or service has been given to them for free. This needs to be clearly stated when a product, brand or service is tagged, linked or endorsed in any way. If you mislead your followers, you may be breaking consumer protection law, and could face enforcement action from the CMA, local authority Trading Standards services..."

Videos like this are precisely why I take Lydiot to task on her ASA and CMA lies and lack of transparency. And I'll continue to drag her for it until I get bored of it.


For the record, she has been reported and made to comply on two separate ASA violations.

Generally, when compared to Lydia (you're right) he does make an effort to be transparent in his feed. Stories. Not so much.

It's his first reported offense, more than likely, so they'll give him a slap on the wrist. He'll get the point.

Ah ya do right I mean takes the piss out of people like myself who know about regulations (though what I am thinking of is entirely different) but doesn't mean I can be lazy if I was with GDPR regulations (though I really can't stand them as it doesnt really solve any problems just a load of crap) for persistent breaches or if a breach of those regulations got pretty serious can face a prison sentence, a member of my extended family got into some trouble back when it was the Data Protection Act (merely the updated to GDPR is in the wake of users data on the Internet being far more widespread than it was back then when it was the DPA) 1998, ended up pleading not guilty as she's just so blatantly honest and got a prison sentence and sent to an open prison for a number of months (they got told by a legal team they could plead guilty and get a suspended sentence but she's too honest for her own good at times bless her (my dads wife's sister and was certainly a certain part of the company they worked for who did this.

I have to agree with you. On one hand I feel a bit for him living with Lydia and her constant belittling him and he's much more personable than her, by a long mile. On the other, he choses to be with her and I think since he's seen all the freebies and pretence her lifestyle affords, he is fully on board with it and is just as bad. The teenage talk and embarrassing inability to pronounce foreign names correctly, makes me cringe so bad and I think he's fallen hook line and singer for this fake freebie lifestyle, I mean, why continue being an electrician (and as if Lydia Elise Millen would admit to say she's married to a tradesman) when you can be an influencer and fake it with freebies?!

He's great with his editing, granted, but what pisses me off the most about him is that he doesn't have many comments on his YT or insta, yet he never bothers to like or replies to comments unless he's friends with them. It would literally take him 2-3 mins to scroll down and like all the comments but he can't be arsed. To me, that's just arrogance and shows you have no interest in interacting with your audience. This to me show how both Lydia and Ali just want to milk their subs for all their worth and give nothing back.

Didn't Lydia also say that Ali was the one who pointed out that she needed to improve her blog by editing her pictures to make them look more luxe (because of course, Lydia looked like so cheap before)
This whole thing may be one of those cases where Ali just doesn't seem like the mastermind of it all because he plays dumb but maybe he plays a bigger part in their fake lifestyle than we realise.
I think he's the one who is slightly more vain than Lydia? Who knows.
He edits their pictures so much and I think he lies more than we realise.
Sometimes, when I feel sorry for him, I take a pause and actually think, hmmm, no one's keeping him there as a hostage?
