THIS. My thoughts exactly. I'm not in the UK but I noticed she is trying to display some superiority bc she listens to classicfm. The equivalent of trying to be luxury in Michael Kors Listening to mainstream does not make you upper class, dear.

To be fair, Ireland is a fairytale place to visit. We honeymooned there in October and LOVED it.
Gonna return for sure at least 2-3 more times to visit all the parts and sights we have on our list.

That being said, please, Lydia, go for Bali or whatever where the lieks of you belong.

How can she think it makes her sound superior? She clearly doesn't know what she likes in classical music, who she's even listening to etc... I'd rather have someone explain to me how and why they like pop music, hardcore metal or whatever style is not posh enough for our Elsie instead of having her making classic FM so f-ing lame.

Second this. The influencer model is inherently flawed unless you do it for a hobby or views alone generate enough income. As soon as sponsorships come in it quickly becomes borderline unethical. It's okay if you truly enjoy a product or service but when promoting something because you depend on the income it is highly problematic. This whole commercialization of your whole life is sickening.

What is wrong with this woman. She is so awkward when she tries to humble brag, and I’m so sick of her fake accent getting thicker and thicker (and still so fake). Who the heck says hecTARES??? Again, the pleb shines through. I never noticed her face being puffy despite everyone talking about it here, and finally I’ve casted her vlog onto my tv - on a sizeable screen… the overdone filler is palpable.

By the way, are her nails a shade of red or the colour of shit? There were a few shots in the vlog where her hands are next to brown items and her nails literally look the colour of shit. Why does she constantly have such strange coloured nails

Those of us who watched the hot mess “gold everything DIY” Teefers phase know exactly what yesterdays vlog was all about. She’s doing some Amazon crafting campaign and rather than just say that like teefers did when she made bird houses out of Amazon boxes… Lydia had to make some big showing of her new found love for “harvesting” leaves and ivy so she can make her own note cards. Yeah right Lydia… you have always loved crafting. Even before you were born

It was all an Amazon ad. The whole thing. She may have put “paid promotion” and listed paid for by Amazon”fashion” below, but the fact that she spent the whole thing flogging anything not nailed down (including praising REVLON lipstick that made her mouth look like ) and pretended to actually be interested in making cards with leaves on them is just what makes her and other influencers fake, unrelateable and sleezy IMO.

Just say “I’m working on a campaign with Amazon to show you how you can make xyz”.

And this whole swipe at Dyson tutorials is so clearly the seething hatred and crippling jealousy towards Vic. Why Dyson? Why such a show? Including a series on tik tok that is pretty obviously playing dumb to make Dyson and Vic look bad????

And the tattler who called it… Lydia is trying to flip the script from her real life of paid for advertising into some “honest review” to hide the fact that she has to buy things for content and that they are UNSPONSORED. (Yes Lydia they are unsponsored because no company wants to work with you). Yet does an entire vlog the very same day for Amazon gushing over everything that could possibly be linked. Give me a break. Tik tok is FULL of unpaid videos about products etc. most people posting tik toks from what I can tell are not sponsored.
