Ok so Myers wanted the member of the public KR to also be questioned / cross examined and his grounds of appeal were because Goss didn’t do this so failed to investigate juror allegation properly.

The appeal judges basically agreed with Goss that KR allegation was not reliable and Goss approached it all correctly.

Honestly though it makes me feel sick that someone tried to do this so late in the trial. What if they had been successful? The whole trial could have collapsed. Thank goodness for Justice Goss for dealing with it the way he did and giving no wriggle room for the trial itself or the attempt for an appeal.

Baby K’s parents words were so touching and heartfelt. They and all the other parents have been so dignified throughout all of this, my heart bleeds for them.

Cut and dry case and I commend them for getting to done quickly to give Baby K's parents as much peace as possible.

They mean that great big blocks of air to a baby’s spine and in the greater vessels and big air bubbles right at the long line entry and multiple witness statements of symptoms of air embolism and medically unexplained deaths and cardiac arrests, right after des nurses or parents left the room every single time, often with letby found cotside or raising the alarm, just after Letby had a course on how air embolism could kill… isn’t evidence.

Her calling out is absolutely the behaviour of a narcissist.

She has had so many opportunities to tell us she is innocent. To plead her case, to show emotion - which I believe you would if you were honestly innocent and being accused of something so heinous. I work with children and I love and care for each and every one of them. If I was ever wrongly accused of anything I would not be able to stand there emotionless and say say "sorry I just don't remember". That's not how normal people work.

She wants that last word. Let her have it. We know it's just another thing she's lied about.

Love that there is now justice for baby K and the jurors reached their unaminous decision so swiftly.

Love that Letby was forced to listen to some of the sentencing remarks from her first trial and that Judge Goss has said she will be there for sentencing for this conviction.

To me she is up there as the most despicable person who ever lived. Premature babies. I still can't read any of the details, it's physical, unrelenting agony seeing what those babies and their families went through and will continue to for the rest of their lives. I just cannot put into words what a rotten fucking evil bitch she is. It's a broken record but I do truly hope she faces immeasurable suffering for the rest of her miserable days, I never wish that on anyone but she is completely deserving. The sad part is it won't ever be enough, daily torture and unlimited life sentences wouldn't be, not even for only 1 of the heinous things she did. It's fucking appalling it took so many sweet lives to be lost before she came to justice, I hope everyone who had a part in it going unaccounted for also suffers for the rest of their days to be quite honest. Still, I'm glad Baby K's family finally got their whole life, it is only right.

I'm not religious but I have to hope somehow those little angels will be reunited with their families some day, it makes me want to believe in things I never have.

As for Letby, I'm never sparing her another thought, I think being forgotten and uncared for would destroy her worst of all, so that's exactly what I'm giving her.

I think baby K's Mother telling Lucy that she would no longer think about her and is going to focus on having a wonderful life with her family might have pissed on her chips a bit! I think Lucy gets great pleasure thinking of the negative impact she's had on the families of her victims.

You’re super sarcastic and mocking in response every time someone has a different opinion, like in the post I quoted there and here. Doesn’t seem very accepting to me tbh.

The thing is, given the overwhelming circumstantial AND forensic evidence presented to two separate juries now, anyone still thinking Letby is innocent of any of the charges she was found guilty of are going to be faced with a certain amount of incredulity. One can accept that another person has a different opinion and still mock them for holding that opinion. A bit like the way flat earthers are viewed.
