I think it was her move to the patient safety office that got her in with them. Otherwise she would have just been another band 5.

Just read it properly again (was in a darkened room willing a toddler to sleep before) and yeh is deffo reads that she was meeting her after her arrest! - she must have been suspended when she was arrested - was she working in the admin roll in the hospital even after the police became involved then?
It all just stinks! No offence to band 5 nurses but how is one getting access to all this high up management types? And them believing her over consultants! Mind boggles
I think she got sacked when she was charged in 2020 and suspended on full pay after the first arrest until she was charged.
God when you think it can’t get any worse…. It’s infuriating how incompetence & unprofessionalism in the NHS seems to leads to promotion or simply moving to another trust. I’m reading this latest stuff absolutely raging but I shouldn’t be so surprised…
I worked with a nurse who was responsible for killing a patient (she played on her phone instead of checking on their blood sugar. Patient slipped into a coma and died). Nurse since got slap on wrist by NMC & now been promoted to band 7 manager… another new manager of ours sacked from TWO previous trusts joined our team & was a bully. After numerous complaints & threats of going to union by the band 5s/6s, HR moved her on to another team and told us all off for “the witch hunt” and said further complaints would be met with disciplinary action. You couldn’t make it up. I’m so angry that this is how it operates.
I’ve also worked in some brilliant trusts and had managers who are true advocates for the patients & their staff and don’t stand for any bull & would fight nail & tooth to provide the best patient care. Why is it so inconsistent
These babies weren’t only failed by LL but by the worst of the NHS, they didn't stand a chance

So Dr Gibbs says there were several further deaths, one he was involved with and feels was natural but he said Chester Police are investigating them all. Sounds to me like he thinks she will have been responsible for the majority. Just incredible to think they’re telling this story and aren’t really able to say that actually there were so many more. They must have been going out of their minds. It’s unfathomable that management weren’t listening.

The HSJ website seems to have the most comprehensive timeline for what COCH did (or not) following her being taken off the unit. I am not signed up but this came from a previous poster and confirms she ‘stopped’ working for COCH in July 2018/first arrest.

It seems so odd to me that a band 5 nurse would be meeting for coffee with the head of nursing. No reason why they can't, it just doesn't really happen anywhere I've worked. The only time I've known really senior management to be friends with band 5s is when they've worked clinically together and stayed in touch. I wonder if it's that thing with being around older women and manipulating a caring response out of them.
Crazy she was still working until her first arrest. No wonder she had stuff like “insulin” jotted on some her little notes.

I don’t know when but they only discovered them because they decided to look at the other twin who had been harmed!
It still blows my mind when I remember with both sets of twins, she harmed one with air embolus and the other was insulin poisoning. It was 8 months between each set of twins. How can anyone deny that??
Yes, I remember him saying he stumbled upon them as was just checking them as their twins had events - I’m gonna have to go back and listen - he said “later in 2018” - so someone with knowledge of the police investigation has told her about it haven’t they?

Oh that would make sense, but that’s even worse! She got moved because of what was going on which made her become chums with those doing her grievance process and more people she manipulated madness

the execs wouldn’t need to tip her off about insulin because she knew she had done it. Or am I missing something.
I think they did and she thought she could outsmart them till they came up with the C peptide.results which she wasn't aware of? Wasn't it something like that? And that burst her bubble pretty quick
The post its always read to me like notes she'd taken during phone calls, then gone back over and spiralled with some of the other bits. I assumed noname was feeding her info but seems way more likely now that it was Karen.
Was there any one in senior management at that effing hospital that LL wasn’t having coffee with on the regular?

My brain was going to the place that she obviously knew she used insulin, but the fact that the babies didn’t die and went home, she might not expect the Police would look into them. I was thinking someone in management told her (in passing even) about the police finding insulin, and she then wrote it down on a note that was found in her first house search, she wrote “foreign objects” etc as well - It’s been a long day!🥲
I bet she’s a right old a kisser who did anything they said, that’s why they liked her. Makes me sick.
