I mean, while we're on the subject and while this thread has gone tits up anyway... what do you take into work for lunch? I used to be out seeing patients all day but have been slightly more desk based recently so can't justify buying a greggs every day anymore. Inspire me fellas
Mason jar layered salads.

Dressing at the bottom with wetter stuff (so finely chopped tomatoes and cucumber) then just add a layer after layer. I usually top ours with shredded chicken.
Then when your ready just turn it upside down on the plate.

Bloody gorgeous 😍 Hubby likes this with pasta, spicy rice, avocado and usually has a couple of flatbreads with it. I just have the plain old salad 🙂

I forgot allitt killed via insulin and tpn combo also 🫣🫣🫣
It’s thought she experimented with other drugs too. Potassium I think. I wouldn’t be surprised if Letby played around with other drugs as well. Yes their methods are very similar including the rather rare occurrence of mixing up methods too. So the way they killed is extremely similar and then the fact they both mixed their methods is also very similar and very rare in terms of other examples of HCSK. Interesting eh 🧐
Increasingly violent too, BA crushed the second twin and broke her ribs.

It was ages ago! It was 2005 ish, so with my sister’s age the friend would have been about 18. Not sure what his relationship status was then but expect it was ‘complicated’ as he was a bit of a slapper by all accounts 🤣

I remember little sis at the time was in hysterics as her friend found it so funny. Apparently he simply wasn’t able to psychologically cope with/ process the fact that she wasn’t interested and just kept saying ‘BUT I’M MARK OWEN!!!’ over and over again.

I’ve never met any of them but I did find that Boyzone dance debut on Irish TV was the most gloriously best-worst performance I’ve ever seen and the presenter gets A-plus marks for bitterly jaded cynicism 😂

Omg I am laughing so hard at this clip. I am kinda also still in awe of poor Stephen Gately giving it socks 💔

I met Boyzone at the height of their fame when I was working as a waitress/hostess in a restaurant in Dublin. It must have been around 1996/97. They came in with this entourage of bodyguards and chavtasic women that were done up to the nines but with common Dublin accents that would cut you in two they were that sharp. Anyway, I was weak at the knees at the sight of them all! Ronan was wearing this full length Matrix style black leather coat that was almost trailing the ground it was so long. I said something lovely and pleasant to him but he ignored me, took the coat off, dumped it in my arms and just walked off. The weight of the coat nearly tipped me over. I actually struggled to hand it up on a hanger afterwards it was that heavy. He just walked off! I was sickened. Sickened! I have never liked him since that day. Prick. 🤣

ETA: I also met Michael feckin Buble, aka Mickey Bubbles in Dublin airport around 2012/2013 and had a drink with him, but literally nobody ever believes that story when I tell it! 🤣 I swear that it is a true story though. I didn’t even realize it was him. I was bawling crying on my own in the bar as I was moving away for good (didn’t end up staying gone). He asked could he join me and why was I upset… I was thinking ‘weirdo’ but ok. At the time he sat beside me, three big fellas in black sat beside us at the next high table over. I didn’t cop anything cos I am pretty unobservant at the best of times. Anyway, he told me his name was Stephen and he travels a lot for work too and understands what it’s like being away from home and he misses his mom too and not to be so upset etc. I pulled myself together, finished my drink, grabbed my phone from the charging point (behind the three big burly men that had positioned themselves right beside us), said thanks and goodbye to my new friend Stephen who was just grinning after me and talking to the 3 guys beside up. Off I went up the travelator thinking there was something a bit weird about that, I feel like I know him or something… with that the penny dropped! Fuck says I! A quick google proved it was fecking him! I legged it back to get a photo but there was no trace of him or the security guards. What an eejit I am! Anyway, nobody ever believe that story. Oh, and his middle name is Stephen!!! 🤣🤣🤣

My mum said I should keep going as I managed longer with wee Caledonian. Yes that's true but that was 8yrs ago. This time round I've had mastitis 4 times and 2nd time for thrush and I've just had enough. I want to sleep with no bra on, I want to be able to get up and not think right I can only do x y and z before I need to feed and mostly I want my body back

My super-logical husband hasn’t followed any of this. He never wastes good energy that he could be using for gardening or some other practical thing. Unless it’s Sci Fi movies.
What he has heard has all been through me. He says “are you reading about the psycho nurse again?” Anyway from his standpoint of knowing nothing 🙄( but usually being right about everything) He says “the verdict will be today then” if the jurors are back in.
All hail the font of all knowledge ! And fingers crossed he’s right 😂 my nerves can’t take any more !

Just had a read of Gill's blog. It is very clear he has no knowledge or understanding of English and Welsh law, our legal system itself, nor how trials are operated. I work in civil litigation law, have a 2:1 LLB and I'm close to finishing my LLM LPC, so by no means an expert myself, but educated enough to say he clearly has not got a clue.

Guys I have top news today from work about her!!! But can’t relay it in case it jeopardises the case or gets back from my work that I’ve said anything. But oh my GOD guilty as sin!

Say no more...we shall talk about it when she's incarcerated!! But yes. Guilty as sin

I was replying a big long post about why insulin
in TPN would absolutely never be done in error and is therefore a deliberate act of sabotage, but me Tattle went all funny and it’s gone now so I’m not going there again. Same with the bag of dextrose. You don’t add shit to these bags. You just don’t. Unless you’re up for a bit of attempted murder and enjoy creating general chaos and destruction. It’s 100% deliberate. It could only have been her. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Plus she wrote a fecking sympathy card cos she had planned to kill all 3. Plus the confession note, plus all the other mountain of evidence pointing to her. There is no explaining it away.

So…I don’t know how true this is. I have been talking to a lady through chat on fb, she’s a lovely lady, but we got chatting earlier in the trial. She’s very much on the innocent side, we’ve discussed and we both respect each other’s opinions. However, she says the jury have been handed ‘bundles’ her belief and many on the innocent side believe the reason why the defence didn’t really present many witnesses was because they didn’t need to - because there is more evidence in these ‘bundles’ one being that there is further evidence about the whole water and sewage incidents. She sent me a document, and in here it was about how water causes infections, it was actually quite bad in the hospital and it can cause similar symptoms to air embolus…I will admit I have not read the whole document. ( I’ve been away for a few days) and I’ve kind of liked the break from thinking about this trial.

she’s very much on the scapegoat theory. She does have a medical background ( I don’t want to say too much about her )

Now, anybody who is in law know how true it is that the jury have ‘bundles’ with other evidence.

Also, I’ll admit, I’m partial to a conspiracy ( never trust governments, drug companies or anybody in authority really ) but at the same time I do like to exercise common sense, and don’t go down rabbit holes too much.

So once I have seen it all laid out in front of me, I just see it as so obvious she’s guilty, however the longer it goes on and the more I talk to others with differing opinions doubt does creep in…

She very much believes that the defence have been tactical over this…again anybody in law know if that is the kind of tactics they’d use? Present no witnesses because they didn’t need to, like they have something in the ‘magical’ bundles that somehow will get L L off…
If it’s not been admitted as evidence in court, it won’t be in the bundle (things like agreed witness statements where the witness didn’t actually give evidence in person as their statement was agreed probably will but they won’t have random medical/scientific evidence that wasn’t presented in court). The whole point of witnesses in court is that their evidence can be presented by one side, and tested by the other side under cross examination, you can’t just give the jury evidence that hasn’t been tested in court, or agreed by both sides. I’m sure she’s not deliberately spreading mistruths but she has been misled somewhere along the line

Not sure if I’ve missed the boat but favourite pud has to be sticky toffee/banoffee pie/crumble (winter only!)/Eton mess (heavy on the meringue, ideally with ice cream). Could live entirely off pudding with some fruit for health purposes!

I will! I actually had goosebumps when hearing it. I just thought what if the jury knew. But it’s in their hands now and I really hope they make the right decision.

I finished! It started pissing it down but I did the whole 10k. I am so bloody unfit so I’m actually shocked I managed it I can’t lie 😂. I’ve raised £390 so far with an additional £80 for gift aid. Just had a nice warm shower, got my cosy jim jams on and I’m gonna have a read of all the tattle I’ve missed 😘 hope you’re doing better xx
Well done 👏👏👏👏👏👏 You should feel very proud x

I mean, I'm heavily biased, but the zoo is fantastic. We've been members since my little one was born and love it. It's very big and you can easily spend a full day wandering around (unlike the blue planet aquarium.... avoid), especially if you stop for food and so the kids can go on play areas. Plus as already pointed out, baby tigers ❤🐯
Chester Zoo is fantastic, we tend to go more out of season as my son doesn't cope well with the crowds 🙈 but he LOVES the animals.

We did an overnight stay in the Elephant Lodge at West Midlands Safari Park for my boys birthday last year. Oh it was absolutely wonderful, I am going to book again for next year when he's 13. It's expensive but worth every single penny just to see his little face light up.

He wouldn't tolerate a full on Birthday party, he has no interest in toys etc so a night with the elephants is perfect 😍🐘🐘🐘

😩😩 really hoped we’d get the verdict by end of tomorrow. I go on holiday Monday for the week- both my kids have SEN so always require full support/supervision. Wonder if I can fake an afternoon nap each day so I can sneak off to catch up with Tattle whilst leaving them with hubby 😏
Yes you can love. Or if need be just ask someone for an overview at the end of the day, one of us will oblige lovey 😘

It won't be me though, I'm a lazy fucker 😂😂

@Caledonianprincess NO guilt please young lady! You've done brilliantly, through some really hard times, time to look after yourself - put your own oxygen mask on first and all that. Managed 8 days with oldest - she now has a 2.1 degree and works on superyachts. Less than 2 days with youngest - she also has a 2.1 degree and works in Formula One. Both in their dream jobs... that breast feeding malarkey is such a super short period of time when you take the long view xxx
