Are you sure? Can’t you recall?!

Oh I’ve searched loads of killers online - I’m probably on some watch database!
Sorry I thought it would be an obvious joke as I don’t shut up about my home girl Bev 🤣 I’ve prob searched her on average 29 times a week since this whole thing started 🤣😑

I found it weird they made zero mention of her internet search habits whatsoever (excluding the Facebooking of course). I wonder if she searched and read a lot about Allitt but it was agreed it would not be used. For the pure reason loads of people will have searched Allitt online, myself included.

'You're being a little shit tonight'

Said lovingly to my child who seems to be possessed this evening.

Please don't nominate me for a parenting award, honestly I hate clutter 😂😂

Can't get over the absolute drongos claiming the insulin couldn't be Letby because she wasn't there. So if I suddenly decided to off all my colleagues one day and poisoned the communal coffee jar then I should get off scot-free and whichever poor soul made the coffees that morning should be locked away forever?

Often wonder if these sorts of people have hobbies, or conversations, or even thoughts sometimes. No critical thinking skills at all. Beiiiiiige

The thing I really don’t get about the scapegoat theory is that the people who would have benefitted from her being a scapegoat were the ones actively pushing for more investigation. If I done something wrong at work and clients weren’t complaining (as appears to be the case here, the families weren’t asking q’s) you can be damn sure I wouldn’t be encouraging my boss to delve more deeply in the hope he’d blame someone else 🤷🏼‍♀️ the whole thing falls apart when you remember no one was looking into this until staff within the NHS pushed for it. Why would they push for more scrutiny if they’d done something wrong? Not to mention the person scapegoated conveniently then has 250 handover notes, hundreds of Facebook searches including of families directly involved, confession notes and was the only staff member involved in every single incident. The most obvious theory is usually correct and in this case the facts just don’t add up to her being scapegoated(?), you have to completely twist what happened to fit the narrative

I have to say that with my experience of the NHS, when something harmful happens what seems to be typical is for the whole trust to clam up and protect all their staff (rather than cherrypicking individuals). I believe NHS negligence and deliberate cover-ups are much more common than is commonly thought, but it doesn’t fit this case IMO.

However I don’t agree that people who mistrust the NHS are merely paranoid. Unfortunately there are very real reasons for it in many cases, and it might be partly why people are misunderstanding the evidence and Letby’s guilt.

Merail to elaborate:

I was very badly injured during a minor NHS procedure (which gave me an incurable progressive spinal condition which is causing slow paralysis). It could also have been stopped and cured had it been recognised earlier. It took nearly a year to get it diagnosed, and I had to pay for that (and the MRI which proved it) privately, because my local trust failed to document any symptoms in writing, and tried to put me in a psychiatric ward, claiming that the pain and various problems were imaginary, (which meant that I wasn’t correctly assessed or diagnosed).

I was also flagged for all clinicians to discount my symptoms as psychosomatic every time I went to A&E (as my condition progressed.)

Almost identical issues happened to two close friends of mine with the same condition- there were missing and fabricated records for their cases too, which were only proved because we all had GP copies of the procedures which were sent at the time.

I also have a friend who was involved in the vaginal mesh scandal- she can no longer pee without a catheter and can’t have sex any more. The lawsuit took years, it wasn’t acknowledged and women were fobbed off for a very long time (during which the procedure continued) and the NHS is still dealing with it very badly.

One specialist was recently in the news for recommending affected women just do it up the butt instead- and that it was an adequate substitute 😬

Other examples…the Alder Hey, Bristol Heart, Penrose, Ely hospital scandals, Scottish inquiry into contaminated bloods, the fact that Saville was given carte blanche to wander hospitals in exchange for donations…the precedents are huge unfortunately.

Really appalling things happen in the NHS all the time, so while I believe errors of this scale could happen I don’t for a minute believe it would be voluntarily, externally reported were it the case.

Although I do believe that this culture may well be why Letby escaped undetected for so long.

So sorry for you loss @mrs.darcy, hope your get together helps you all.

In other sad news, Psycho Sootie (my profile pic) will be pts this week, he has mouth cancer. He's 14, and was my younger daughter's 10th birthday present. I'm just glad we can do this kindest thing for animals.
Oh I'm so sorry. My dog passed unexpectedly this year, he was 10. It's so heartbreaking. I'm sure you'll make his last days precious. ❤

It's been a rough week for alot of us. It's truly touching how we all bandy around each other. For a troll website so much love. ❤❤❤❤

We wouldn’t have a clue about the delays in antibiotics or needle being left in or any of the other genuine mistakes the doctors made without this trial happening. It’s got to be the worst cover up in history 😵💫

Good morning- First official day of my 6 week break off work, if we don’t include the weekend, 🥳🥳🥳! First on the agenda is to have a bath, because I literally did not get dressed this weekend, i tramped it out in pjs for 2 day’s didn’t leave the house and caught up on all the house work I haven’t done properly in months. I feel recharged and refreshed and ready for summer! Shame the weather says different 😒
Yes have a bath. And Femfresh your fanny. It stinks.

I did question this!! Like you are telling me they have a load of evidence that hasn’t been presented to the court? But then I don’t know if that does happen, like the innocent group are so utterly convinced by it, I start thinking 🤔.
That’s because for some god forsaken reason, that maybe I should feel pity for but truly struggle to, is she HAS to be innocent to them. Despite all facts, despite the insane amount of chance and unlikelihood for this to be at all possible. They want her to be. Maybe that’s a nicer place to live mentally. Maybe it just makes them feel special for being so super astute when in reality they are just inventing things to suit their narrative. Maybe they feel like heroes. Whatever the reason for their delusions, that’s all it is. Utterly deluded. There has to be a secret document showing the waterborne virus that fills babies full of air for them to say she’s innocent- that’s how fucking hard they have to reach. Let them crack on x

I take it the judge would not allow a full weeks break this week without a very good reason? I wonder if the juror that needed urgent medical attention that one time, has an ongoing medical issue that sometimes needs treatment that can run on/take longer? What kind of reasons would we be looking at potentially for breaks like this? As in if it was something like a holiday or wedding etc would they be permitted? Obviously if there is genuine a medical kind of reason I assume the judge would have to permit it?

The jurors all do seem to be committed tho, I’m sure i remember at the time of talking about dropping one particular, there was some discussion saying they’d been kept as they were very committed. The only bit that really worries me at this stage is if the long delays are grounds for mistrial or appeal? Would delays like this be grounds do you know?

Help us try to understand pls, you seem to be the only one that has legal knowledge on the thread 🙌🏼

So any of the times recently you’ve been, there’s no members of the public or anyone else you’ve met at court that have absolutely no idea what is going on? I thought maybe some of the people that had gone to watch long term may have even had an idea, or some kind of rumour floating about? It’s very strange that there’s no info given whatsoever, and whether it’s still two off or just one
Honestly I’m in uncharted territory here because this is the longest trial I’ve come across! Normally I believe you have to say if you have a valid reason in the next month etc so how they’ve managed it with this long a trial I have no idea! But yes, it’ll need to be a very good reason - weddings/graduations/holidays will have been known about for a while (don’t forget he told them end of July which tbf it looks like it’s on track for) so they’d have had to say a while ago, wouldn’t be a last minute, unexpected thing, so must be sickness/something urgent last minute that can’t be avoided. I doubt when they were called to jury service they’d have declared a holiday in July, but would have known since to tell the judge about it so it wouldn’t be a last minute decision. I don’t think a week’s delay in deliberations can be grounds for a mistrial/appeal - the criteria are really quite strict, and other than making it an unbearable wait for everyone involved, hard to see how it prejudices LL 🤷🏼‍♀️
Haha I think there are some other, probably more knowledgeable legal brains on here, but having worked in the criminal justice system I know how draining and exhausting it is, and how relentless the criticism can be especially when so much is out of your control, so can’t help myself sticking up for them 🤣

If there hadn’t have been the episodes of hangovers sickness after every bumbaclart weekend, bank hol, England game it wouldn’t have dragged on this long anyway so they surely can’t be using that as an excuse?

I’m not sure that’s true. I remember seeing a graph and the line spiked 15/16 and dropped right down after that. Can’t find it or I’d post it but the unit was also downgraded so not sure it means much
It’s absolutely not true. Wouldn’t be the first time that Dick The Prick has insinuated Dr Gibbs has something to do with the deaths. Disgusting, vile accusation and honestly if Gibbs was my father/relative, I would be legally kicking Gill so hard in the micropenis he wouldn’t know what hit him. Pathetic little creature needs shutting up once and for all. Toad. He’s not fit to lick Dr Gibb’s shoes.

I almost forgot that a real-time friend posted on FB today pictures of her having tea with scones, jam and cream in none other than ✨Cockington✨. I hadn’t the heart to leave her a lewd remark a-la-Tattle 😂 so opted for the safe option of a “like”

I was chatting to someone who knows Janet C (the lady who is often at court with LL - her “best friend”) and they said BM had some good defence experts but did not present them as they thought they would be torn apart in cross examination and that would be damaging to the defence. So tactical? Yes.
Are they the court jester 🤔

Guys I have top news today from work about her!!! But can’t relay it in case it jeopardises the case or gets back from my work that I’ve said anything. But oh my GOD guilty as sin!
