It's sad mothers are made to feel failures if they stop or never start breast feeding. I can't help feeling the benefits are massively exaggerated anyway.
You do you and fuck anyone else's opinions.
Favourite 3 songs. I'm stuck in the past with mine.
McArthurs Park. Richard Harris
Life On Mars. David Bowie
God Only Knows. Beach Boys.
You are a lovely group of supporters of eaxh other. Love that. And Tattle doesn't deserve it's bad rep.
Now Mumsnet, that place is pure evil. 👹

Realistically, if a jury member had, for example, a once-in-a-lifetime trip planned for this summer with a large family or even something like a family wedding abroad, and the trial was expected to be finished by now, therefore didn't think it would be affected, but now it is, what are they expected to do? Just not go? I know they signed up for it but if it was never expected to go this long, then would they have thought to mention it until it was too late?! I'm not suggesting this is a reason for this delay but really what would they be expected to do? Or even their own wedding?! I think I'd be fuming if I was on the jury and hadn't had a day off but was now expected not to go on a holiday/honeymoon that could have been booked over a year ago purely because the trial has gone on so long, but I'd be equally fuming if I also hadn't had a day off and then suddenly had to hang around for a week in the middle of deliberations waiting for someone to go on holiday! Equally, the parents will have put their lives on hold too, desperate for answers and all this waiting around is unfair to them. Bit of a ramble but just feels like there are no winners here and if it is one or two jury members playing silly buggers then I hope there are consequences. Wish boss man Goss would just declare her guilty and get her sentenced, in all honesty.

So…I don’t know how true this is. I have been talking to a lady through chat on fb, she’s a lovely lady, but we got chatting earlier in the trial. She’s very much on the innocent side, we’ve discussed and we both respect each other’s opinions. However, she says the jury have been handed ‘bundles’ her belief and many on the innocent side believe the reason why the defence didn’t really present many witnesses was because they didn’t need to - because there is more evidence in these ‘bundles’ one being that there is further evidence about the whole water and sewage incidents. She sent me a document, and in here it was about how water causes infections, it was actually quite bad in the hospital and it can cause similar symptoms to air embolus…I will admit I have not read the whole document. ( I’ve been away for a few days) and I’ve kind of liked the break from thinking about this trial.

she’s very much on the scapegoat theory. She does have a medical background ( I don’t want to say too much about her )

Now, anybody who is in law know how true it is that the jury have ‘bundles’ with other evidence.

Also, I’ll admit, I’m partial to a conspiracy ( never trust governments, drug companies or anybody in authority really ) but at the same time I do like to exercise common sense, and don’t go down rabbit holes too much.

So once I have seen it all laid out in front of me, I just see it as so obvious she’s guilty, however the longer it goes on and the more I talk to others with differing opinions doubt does creep in…

She very much believes that the defence have been tactical over this…again anybody in law know if that is the kind of tactics they’d use? Present no witnesses because they didn’t need to, like they have something in the ‘magical’ bundles that somehow will get L L off…
Sorry to say but this is a pile of shite. Most of the babies has no raised infection/inflammation markers. Therefore, no infection. The ones that did were improving. So she’s talking a load of shite. Sounds like she’s been listening to Richard and the other conspiracy scientist nut. Sorry fella. She sounds like an anti vaxxer cray cray.

[serious](That’s a joke fellas so don’t come at me) [/notserious] 👀 💉

Hugs as prescribed 🤗🤗
Not drunk, but my absence from the threads last Saturday was partly due to having a few too many at a garden party, tripping over and nosediving, forward pike with twist, straight into the pond. Head to toe in chickweed and slime.
Hope that helps.
Omg this is worse than @Della eating a caterpillar from her bra! Hope you’re ok!

Guys I have top news today from work about her!!! But can’t relay it in case it jeopardises the case or gets back from my work that I’ve said anything. But oh my GOD guilty as sin!

Urgh. Need a hug tonight guys. One of those days. Anyone free?

Dominos and Fortnite/movie night here. Anyone got anything exciting planned? Any drunk posters to watch out for?
Here’s a virtual hug all the way from Scotland x

I’ve got an exciting weekend ahead. Not!
I would normally be glued to the test match but I can’t see there being much play. So I’ll be on laundry duty, batch cooking and hoping for a FaceTime with my grandson ❤

Edit: My youngest son (father of said grandson) is also a doctor. Which makes me feel sooooo old! He teaches med students around the hospitals of central Scotland at the moment.

@xhc___ & @nosycowmoo sitting on the tea and I am here for it ☕
Can’t wait till the verdict is in and you can share with us! Think this thread will go crazy when we eventually get to that day. Please be soon!

Selfishly I’m going away abroad on Thursday and I won’t have much internet access, hoping the verdict is in before then. How long after the verdict does sentencing generally take place?
Started watching the Sixth Commandment tonight, great recommendation, thanks to whoever recommended.

last sentence said -

“Mother can you shut the shed door, we are going to bed now”

Context

- my kids friends all basically live at my house when school isn’t on, but I decided I wanted my front room this summer! so me and the kids turned a big shed into a summer hang out shed last weekend for them to sleep in, it’s very cool! And more importantly my house is staying tidy and there arn’t kids sprawled out in my front room in the morning’s ! Winner!Don’t know why we haven’t done it sooner 😁

lots of love to all the tattlers going through a tough time at the moment. You are all amazing and strong and you’ve got this!!! ❤

I wonder what’s happened. Hard not to be cynical isn’t it. I suppose we’ll never know but I feel like the saga of the jury is a four part documentary in itself.

I was in a studio all day without food and was catching up earlier with you buggers going on about what you were having for tea. It’s a very strange feeling to go from reading posts about nice meals and then feeling that hunger amplified, to then read another memory of 1.5 inch dick guy and the description of whatever it was in his scrotum and suddenly never wanting to eat food ever again.

Omg Della liked my post - I’m fan girling as though a celeb has noticed me 😂 the day she replies to me (ideally with something insulting) I’ll know I’ve made it on here.

I see you as the mother figure of the thread @DellaC (not in age though, I promise 😂)
Shut up.

You dick!

😘

But they were told weeks ago that it was expected to last until the end of July.

Could they not have approached the judge to iron out any issues beforehand rather than cause this upset an chaos?

Stupid question but when making these recipes what do you lot do with the excess of ingredients? For example if a recipe requires a lot of different things that you have to go out and buy (as opposed to already having them etc) doesn’t it get quite pricey? I find that I end up buying all these ingredients only for a bit of it to get used as I have no use for it after. And it ends up costing quite a bit.
I guess unless you’re making it regularly, I don’t know 🤣
I reuse a lot of the ingredients tbh, like everything has a purpose - so cinnamon, good for that chilli but also coffee, porridge, flapjacks etc. so it was like £1.89 but saves me buying flavoured porridge sachets which was marginally more expensive or buying a flapjack before work etc so it sort of saves money long term? If there’s an ingredient like salmon or something that you did for the rice meal, and had no clue what to do with it after, I’d Google ‘salmon recipes’ and see what would come up that my fam would enjoy and I could freeze e.g. my honeyed salmon goes down a treat, there’s salmon slices with poached egg and rye toast, salmon chopped up with slivers of cheddar for a salad etc.

Celebrity encounters, this doesn’t count - once saw Boris Johnson from a taxi while he was mayor, the driver abruptly pulled over and told ol’ BJ that he was a cunt and drove off. I gave him a £5 tip lol. Utter gold.

I got fingered by Cillian Murphy 🖕 it was a dream but I shall remember it forever 😍🥰😘🤩
I read this in the waiting room waiting for my bloods btw. Luckily I was wearing a facemask which covered the majority of my snort.

Awh @docmum I missed why you had a hospital visit but I hope you’re ok. Your posts are always so lovely and kind and balanced and you really just ‘get it’. I’d love you to be my GP. I’ve decided that for some reason, I’m not sure you’re general practice at all but hey 👋

Sending you big hugs from across the sea. I might be the very drunk poster to watch out for later 🤪 🥂 🤗

Thank you for the virtual hug love, I feel like you ‘get it’ too 🥰 Just a check up/treatment plan but I get myself so nervous. It’s a 50 mile drive as I have to go to a specialist centre, then because it’s all centred there I have to hang around for tests/bloods/prescription which took ages. Wanted to get back to do school pick up myself with it being the last day so the 50 drive mile back was my best girl-racer as Fridays and London traffic are the worst combo. Got to school with 5 mins to spare. AND it was £9.10 for parking at the hospital 😳
Anyway it’s just days/weeks like this that I wouldn’t mind tolerating another adult human in my life to stop me getting so grumpy and stressed 🤪

Have a glass for me lovely 😘❤🥂
