They’re categorised as restricted, closed, semi-open and open which pretty much corresponds to the A, B, C and D categorising for men’s prisons.
It’s like they don’t understand that a big part of a serial killer is that they’re nice and charming towards people when they want to be. They’re not walking around trying to stab everyone they see, they’d get busted. They pick and choose their targets, and if you’re not a target, you very likely will not notice anything sinister.
Happens all the time with abusive men - some guy will murder his family and the headline will go on about what a nice bloke he was according to a dude on his footy team or a guy he works with.
It’s true what they say - you can never really know a person.
Feel so sad tonight catching up on the reports from today.
How could someone do this? The most vulnerable in society! It should have been a privilege to be there for those sweet babies and the parents when they needed care the most and instead she murders 7 and harms 10 others (some of whom will never be able to live the life they should have due to disabilities caused by LL).
She had such a privileged life, a decent job, home, parents who loved her, a social life and instead of appreciating what she had she was so bitter and jealous of others that she took it out on innocent babies.
I hope she spends 50 years in a prison cell as miserable as duck and then dies a horrible death.

I was mega surprised today when one of my lovely elderly ladies mentioned the "killer nurse" I asked if she meant Lucy and she said "darling go rinse your mouth for saying that horrific name" she warned her great great granddaughter, who is pregnant with a girl, about the name which I thought was rather funny bless her soul

A few on Reddit saying that they think BM will go down the road of she was damned if she was cotside and damned if she wasn't (accused of falsifying). Perhaps making out that the prosecution is inconsistent and finding small discrepancies in the patterns the prosecution have identified. I can see this happening and I'm sure BM will deliver with a flourish but I think (and hope) there is too much clear cumulative evidence now to overcome the prosecution case.

I mean when I hear Myra I do think Hindley but I don’t automatically think of Rose West when I hear the name Rose. Who knows 🫤
