I know it will probably go on longer after the verdict coz surely there’s more stuff to come out but I feel like we are a family lol (sorry had a few glasses of wine) I don’t want to lose you guys 🤧

I was mega surprised today when one of my lovely elderly ladies mentioned the "killer nurse" I asked if she meant Lucy and she said "darling go rinse your mouth for saying that horrific name" she warned her great great granddaughter, who is pregnant with a girl, about the name which I thought was rather funny bless her soul💖

On our little off topic of the evening about superstitions also - putting a coin in a purse/wallet/money box when gifting🙈
Oh, that one is really nice!!!

Hey - newbie here joining in the last throes here 👋🏼

I’ve read a lot of the wiki - good job what a huge amount of info - but wondering if anyone knows why the doctor hasn’t been named?

I’m a court reporter, in Scotland but most media reporting laws are similar as in England. Normally a witness wouldn’t be named if they were under 18, it’s dangerous for the witness (ie snitching on gang crime) they are the victim of a sex crime or if revealing their name could hinder a future trial.

Anyone know where mystery doc falls

I love how Nick is tying it all together 👏🏻. Wonder what his last sentences will be on her. Shame he can’t use the word ‘witch’.

Soooo a number of the babies had blood/swollen vocal cords 😱 I had previously only thought it was E and the mum walking in on her. She is so so evil and cruel.

A few of the witnesses have requested anonymity so he isn’t the only one but it’s fairly obvious why he’d want it given the choice 😳

I hope Lucy doesn’t become synonymous with murder - it’s the name we’ve chosen for this baby (I think mine is a boy though.)

Lucy Maud Montgomery (Anne of Green gables writer) and Lucy from The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe are two ‘good’ Lucy’s! But I’ve always liked it from one of the St Claire’s books. But in all honesty the timing might not be great as I’m due around the trial ending. Anyone got any name suggestions? 😂

He had an accident. He tripped and accidentally put his willy into a serial killer. So to protect his wife himself he's gone all incognito.

Silly fool of a man. I bet he regrets that one 😂😂

Right whoever makes this next thread I’m serious the ‘not guilty- the prosecution hasn’t proved their case ’ (a long with the others) option needs to go 😑!!! The evidence is overwhelming 150000 pages , countless witness’s, expert’s, we have had 8 months worth!!! Plus the im evil I did this confession note 🤦‍♀️. it is just not an option anymore and I’m not entertaining it. The poll need’s to be guilty or ‘I’m an absolute head, i haven’t followed the trial properly and her kind face tells me she is innocent’. Honestly if you are voting anything but guilty even you fence sitters, please just duck off! It is beyond boring now and you look like utter bleeping fools!!!!!

Morning all 😆❤

As chief health and safety executive I concur. We need to keep your blood pressure down, don't want your head exploding 🤯🤯

One of my colleagues has a daughter named Lucy and she asked, quite seriously, do you think the name Lucy is going to become associated with the serial killer nurse?

I mean when I hear Myra I do think Hindley but I don’t automatically think of Rose West when I hear the name Rose. Who knows 🫤😬
I don't think it will it isn't as unique as Myra and the alliteration on the LL make it roll off the tongue ( as NJ keeps saying)and you don't really notice the cute first name.

It’s such a sweet name but I don’t think I could bring myself to use it currently 🙈 try not to worry if you do go for it, you can’t control these things anyway.
I remember it’s because you liked the book and I think Annie is a gorgeous name with the same feel as Lucy. Or you could mix it up with Lucille. I love an old lady name so I’d even be tempted by Maud 🤣 I never got to use a girls name but have helped name lots of my friends girl babies with my huge lists I made when pregnant. Might be why the Letby prison names came so easily to me 🤣🤣
My girls name would have been Dorothy 💕 my Nana’s middle name.

Wendy Juryfindyouguilty (sorry just came to me 🤣)

I know different circumstances but the Archie Battersby thread is still going, but the Thomas Cashman thread was pretty much closed straight after the trial.

Wasn't it you @lucyxxx who guessed the 44 years sentence for TC before the verdict was announced 🤣?

Apologies miss Della, who doesn’t wear the correct shoes while doing I don’t know what but got staples in her foot, health and safety executive, I am now calm after my rant ❤

Your brain is playing tricks on you. Only a fool would step on a strip of staples whilst hanging solar lights. That absolutely definitely was NOT me 😂

Glad you're calm you hulky witch.

Hey all.. I’m wondering if when this is over, parents would be able to do a SAR to see if she had any handover sheets related to their child?

I wonder if that’s why BNE usually refers to her as “Lucy Letby”, as just the name Lucy is too endearing?

Certainly why I mostly do! Or just Letby. She doesn’t deserve the name Lucy. Letby is harsh and followed better by ‘you bleep’.

Dress a new baby in red, or tie a red bracelet round their wrist for protection
When your wife/husband dies cut a piece of cloth in half, put one in the coffin and one in your pocket and say “there’s your piece now stay away”
Also wear red or black undies for a few months after and it stops the ghost of your partner from visiting you

A lot of these Jamaican ones contain a way to warn off ghosts for some reason
There was no way I could have dressed my ginger, jaundice baby in red. She'd have looked like the top half of a rainbow 😂

I'm by no means an authority, but I think technically they could put in a SAR to the police to see what info they hold on the child. There's some exemptions for police records around ongoing investigations and court proceedings, so it might depend on what's going on with Operation Hummingbird after this as to whether it could be released.
