Omg omg omg. He’s just proven to the jury she was manipulating them when she was telling them how sad, lonely and isolated she was when she was taken off of the ward! Shown them photos of her on nights/ days out with her ‘work family’ during that time! And a day to London with a doctor who can’t be named!
Surely if she actually was asked not to communicate with people pending the investigation, it also proves she had no regard at all for that process.

Oh lads, I feel absolutely sick to the stomach this evening. The rate at which she was harming these babies was alarming, you forget it's not just the incident that resulted in their deaths or being permanently damaged that occurred but all the other attempts made by her.

She is one sick fuck.

Oh and Lucy, incase you ever read here, you are one incompetent nurse, no wonder it took you so long to become band 5 and there isn't a hope in hell you would ever have had the skill and capability to become a band 6. You are a failure of a human being, an utter mistake of nature.

Letby denies affair with 'married' colleague after being suspended
The court is now being shown photographs of Letby, taken from her social media and phone.

In one message, the male colleague she denied was her boyfriend exchanged a series of heart emojis via WhatsApp and travelled together to London at least once.

Letby says they had to cancel the second trip.
"[Colleague] was a married man, it's not a relationship at all it's a friendship," she says.

The prosecution says this document is "peppered" with lots of examples of Letby out socialising with people from the unit.

"You had a very active social life, didn't you?" Mr Johnson asks.
"Yes."

"You have deliberately misled this jury about your background," Mr Johnson says.
"No."

He says Letby also "misled [the jury] about your circumstances following your suspension".
"No."

The cross has given us so many extra details for each baby in the case. Just think of the details we didn’t get from the expert witness evidence! The reporting at really crucial times was so poor for lots of them. Barely any detail on some expert evidence at all. The jury have heard lots more than us and I still just can’t understand where the doubt lies really. All of these little lies, the paper work and searches are absolutely entwined with her guilt and as bad as they appear but the witness and expert witness accounts will have been hugely compelling. To say there’s reasonable doubt when you’ve had an expert radiologist that has studied 500+ cases of air in children post mortem and they’ve said the air in these babies was more than he had seen on all but a handful and all those had explanations like road traffic accidents. There were extremely unusual amounts of air without there being a solid explanation of how it got there, that it “stands to reason” that the air was administered. There was a globule of air by the IV for baby D. According to the defence, she’s supposed to have died from the sepsis she had all but recovered from and had no soft signs of. There is a huge liver injury that is a match for purposeful harm. There are two babies pumped with synthetic insulin, it doesn’t matter how the blood was held, the insulin is there and there is a very clear medical record of prolonged hypoglycaemia. There are multiple doctors, nurses and parents saying there were rashes. Screaming. Bleeding. How many times have we heard doctors and nurses say they’d never experienced things like it, could find no natural cause. How many texts of disbelief that another baby that was doing well had died. How many problems when the designated nurse took their break or a parent had finally gone to go and get some sleep? How many times have parents been had to have been wrong about the very last moments of their babies short lives? And all the while she has sat there listening knowing full well that she is evil, she’s guilty, she did this.
All of this a million times over. There is soooooo much we clearly aren’t privy to due to the reporting which became clear in the cross.

Also, these people want to believe her account on the stand during her evidence right? During this same evidence she was confirmed she agreed with the expert evidence and that a number of these babies did in fact due from what they have concluded. But her defence is just that it wasn’t her. HOW can you possibly disregard all the other bits of evidence?
It would be like them finding multiple stabbing victims & the same last person to always be with them, who had searched them all on Fb, taken personal things from them & kept them, to be texting friends about accidental stabbings, drafting sympathy messages for someone that was still current alive but not actually being caught physically stabbing them & their defence, among their many lies, being “yes but it wasn’t me”. How reasonable is it that there was someone else? It’s not reasonable at all.
It’s not reasonable here either.

Also, the bit where she put the form in about the plug being off & it possible it could be accidental air embolism for one of the babies? I thought she didn’t know what one was? I swear she said that at one point

I think she’s gaslit her legal team into thinking they’ve made a mistake. There’s no way such a massive hole in her story has only come to light now
I believe child N’s dad, you wouldn’t forget a phone call like that.

The searching in sets thing I don’t understand, what do they mean? She searched in that order cause they were related in some way?
They were only connected because of what she did. She searched them in groups when nothing connected them, there was nothing to make her think of them at the same time.

I really hope after she’s convicted the media remove the photos of this woman holding a baby and a sleep suit off their articles. It might seem petty but even seeing it appear on the articles is so chilling

From Judith's Twitter:

Nick Johnson KC: "Pumping him with milk wasn’t an option because he wasn’t being given milk"
Lucy Letby: "That’s correct"

Not a good look. I know there's the argument that her response is only to the last part, but she doesn't make that clear. Makes you wonder if things like that are slip ups...

Can only people registered with tattle vote in the poll, does anyone know?
yes - just logged out and can’t vote. But all 3 votes came in within a couple of minutes as I was picking up my phone/putting it down whilst sorting washing and other bits, I genuinely wouldn’t be surprised if the same person used their referral codes to create more accounts.
Whoever you are you clearly track the threads closely. We are a discussion forum and I love to hear an alternative explanation so please speak up otherwise you’re actually discrediting your opinion in the vote?!

Some people are just contrarian for the sake of it. Voting NG on a Guilty leaning thread just to troll. I'm paying no mind.

Fair play if they want to post their thoughts based on all the evidence heard so far - I'm always up for hearing differing perspectives and opinions but to vote NG and stay silent just screams contrarian troll to me.

Just got out of court, full report in a bit when I’m sat down! In short though, todays only made me more sure that she’s guilty as sin, and BNE is incredible and so much cleverer than the reporting portrays.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts. It was difficult following the reporting today - I imagine it must have been harder to listen to it all in court.

She was using the handover sheets to Facebook search the parents!!! My jaw is on the fucking floor here! She was fucking using them as trophies! This is actually too much! I hope that the jury see this for what it is too. I’m shook here!

Seems like even the green haired woman is struggling to come up with an excuse for writing a sympathy note for a triplet who didn't die.

That's how you know LL's fucking guilty!

Is there any significance to her spelling the parent's name wrong? Would that be because it was spelt wrong on the handover sheet? And if so is that bad because she got the name from the sheet? Also...dunces cap fully on now...why would getting the name from the sheet in particular be bad?
I think this is very telling. She claims to have forgotten about handover sheets and collected so many over the years but on Christmas day she managed to find these ones in particular to search the names of these babies parents. I don't believe she spent hours rifling through bags and boxes of her paper collection. She knew exactly where they were. They were her precious trophies. I feel sick thinking about how many times she sat with them remembering the cruel evil things she had done.

Hi 👋

‘Another example is of a picture of a couple of bottles of Prosecco on July 22, 2016. Letby is asked if she was allowed to drink Prosecco at this time. Letby agrees.’

Why clarify is she can/cannot drink Prosecco?
What’s the significance here - am I missing the point on this one ☝

Gotta hand it to NJ, he had done a bloody stirling job today and the other days LL has been on the stand.

He has proven her to lie over stupid things which don't even matter and that must show her to be very dishonest in the jury's eyes

And don't get me started on that note to all 3 triplets. Hadn't even picked up on that before. Sick bitch

Just echoing what someone else said a couple of pages back how this has been the best thread I’ve ever been apart of ❤ it’s so tragic, and I’m glad we are all now firmly guilty (I have been since the first time I saw her smug face in the papers) but I just love being part of this little community we’ve built on here and you all make me laugh so much! Wish I could come to court and meet some of you 😂

Looking forward to seeing her go down for a very long time, there’s no doubt in my mind after the last couple of days!!

What’s the jury split on male/female? I’d judge a woman who’s been knocking about with a married man more harshly if I’m perfectly honest… I sit on my high horse about stuff like that fucking snakey bitch.

I really think she’s done for now. She’s admitted the whole “I have PTSD cause I was hauled out the house in my Me to You bear Jim jams” line is fucking nonsense and that she’s played on it for sympathy so really at this stage she’s fucked. If she had nothing to hide or was telling the truth she wouldn’t need to push for the sympathy vote. I pray these jurors do not fuck this up.

Ive just got home and caught up on everything from today.

As someone who stayed on the fence until the defence started as tried to be impartial, I have to say I'm surprised 3 people have voted innocent after she had given evidence.

No digs intended as clearly everyone will interpret the evidence their own way, but all together, its all just to coincidental to be innocent in my eyes. No one is that unlucky and the insulin cases kind of seal it for me.
