I'm really disappointed in him. I really did want to give him the benefit of the doubt. He's very VERY lucky that the twisted bitch didn't try to falsley implicate him in any of this.

I really don’t believe Ben Myers would lie in court.

But I don’t understand how this has happened.

Surely they go through the witness statements with her and ask if she agrees?

I don’t give a toss about Letby but it is concerning something like this happening could give grounds for an appeal? Not this one as it’s been addressed in court now but if the defence legal team make this kind of mistake with anything else.

Did I go, yes nothing of interest to report tho tbh it was tiring today think BNE was feeling it too… still contradiction after contradiction. Cross exam finishes tomorrow! Not read the reports but the do you agree the injury happen under your watch ‘yes’ was a jaw dropper! Another funny part a spat between barristers but I need to see if been reported before I tell you it, don’t want to get into trouble.

I am 100% convinced now that there is no way there will a unanimous or majority ‘not guilty’ verdict.

I’m really hoping for a very quick unanimous verdict. but hopefully the worse case is a longer deliberation resulting in a 10-2 majority.

however my slight worry is if there are too many of the scapegoat type believers or those that feel it’s too big a decision to lock someone up for life (tbh those people shouldn’t be allowed on a jury) and my worry is they just can’t agree a majority. And ends up being a hung jury. Oh god can you imagine If the statistics across these forums and social media are to go by then hopefully the jury are a similar reflection of the majority sensible critical thinking people following the case. But there is a slight worry there.

I’ve got two major things wrong on this trial that I am very very happy to have been wrong on.
1) I was absolutely convinced she wouldn’t take the stand because it would be so so fucking stupid to do so. Thank you Letby hun
2) I was totally sure that Beige Knickers and Dr FloppyCock-ington had zero chemistry and were nothing more than penpals. Delighted to see she’s a little skank that was happy to fuck up a marriage and family but not only that, she has lied to the jury about it and they’ll now not trust a word she says.

I’m hopeful that I’ll have a hat trick and be wrong in my total conviction that Benny Boy would have experts! The “may have” more defence from the judge today was very interesting!

Then after those corkers… my streak will be over and Lucy Letby will be sent down on a whole life tariff

All I can say is FUCKING HELL!!!!!! What an ending. My heart breaks for the families. All for attention. A manipulative liar. The affair, the social life, the lee cooper leisure suit! BNE has ended her. And the sympathy note prepared probably to write into a card including the third triplet . Stick a fork in her she’s done.

Had to be in the County Court for a case to cover the other day and I slid past court 7 whilst they were on a break. The “ friend “ sat with Letbys mum and dad is Janet Cox.
She worked on the unit with Letby.

they’ve definitely released police tapes after other guilty verdicts, and arrest footage, but how they decide what to release for who I’m not sure. Maybe whatever has the best story as might be requested by the media?

Oh when I was there before the jury came in the judge asked both barristers if they had got an email from the bbc about request to release some evidence to the public although they didn’t get into specifically what. So maybe it is the media that drives what’s released.
