Maybe I’m not being in the mind of a serial killer here, but personally I wouldn’t expect my parents or friends to come and witness my trial and be supportive if I’d killed innocent people (especially babies!) bad enough killing anyone, let alone little babies. I just can’t fathom how her parents keep coming. I know she’s their baby but wow. Bet it was a mic drop moment even for them in court for them too if they hadn’t known of the drafted letter for the third surviving triplet 🤯🤯

i wonder what narrative she gave the parents, she is fond of a lie so i wonder if it was actually a different narrative to everyone hates her and is out to get her

And the handover sheet in the rose embossed keep safe box from her first day as a student nurse has to be pretty significant right?
Yeah this is so weird. Why did she keep this one anyway, just because it was her first shift. Was this the point she thought wahey from today I could do things and people would never know. Absolute weirdo from the get go.

Of all the things she could’ve took to memorise her first ever shift as a student nurse, she chose confidential patient information

You'll find out in:

The Murderess And Me in Cockington by The Sea.

This is one of my favourite ever posts in this thread, I’ve said it before and I’ve still no idea why but I can’t stop laughing at this🤣

Still catching up on loads, but wow so glad our bae BNE did not let us down, it was everything I was expecting from him, and then some more.

I’m honestly so confused that after today there are now 20 people voting NG, like sorry but whatttttttttt😱

What I was absolutely not expecting was Noname to be married, shows how way off I was. Tbf @Tofino you’ve been right about Noname and about her taking the stand, I’ll not doubt you ever again

Also I may of missed it but I don’t remember this Janet cox person ever being mentioned before? What am I missing?

You’ve made a very very good point here. She was searching a parent from Liverpool women’s from her training, I think she did that search in 2015 or 2016 but had trained at LWH years before. She thinks it’s a get out clause to say “itS NaTUraL bEhaViouR” for me but think about it. Like she says, she’s treated hundreds and hundreds. So how on Earth does she remember the names of parents from that long ago. And it’s not cos they’re significant? It’s just who’s on her mind apparently. She is able to do it because she has their names to hand. She rifles through. She will remember things she did. She will get a kick out of it.
What's the odds that this parent from LWH's baby is on that handover sheet from her very first shift, the one that was kept in pristine condition?
She's been harming babies from day one hasn't she 😢

Or the first time she did something to a baby, however minor

She had a LOT of handovers from her student days. Was 100 or more I think!

I know that so many people here have been thinking guilty early on, but when you think of the number of people who were pushed towards guilty following LL taking the stand, it makes you wonder. Imagine if she'd not taken the stand and in effect, sealed her own fate? There'd still be people unsure, or looking for something more to convince them.

I know LL loves praise so I'd like to commend her for being the best defence witness that the prosecution could have ever had 👏
The evidence was still there though, we just didn’t hear all of it. I have viewed her as guilty for a while now but certain things have really confirmed it for me and that isn’t just from her taking the stand. We have heard in more detail how she altered medical notes, the timings of her attacks also just after parents leaving each time, the ducked up practice sympathy note, amongst other things. All of this could have been presented without Letby taking stand. She just confirmed further what an absolute manipulative compulsive liar she is, and gave some really laughable excuses or none at all for her actions. But I genuinely believe she would have been sent down even without her taking the stand. BNE was either saving the finer details for the cross examination or the reporting just didn’t reflect the evidence when he was presenting at the time.

It’s took me 3 hours reading to catch up 🤣

Wowowowow I don’t know where to start but I think most of my thoughts have been covered.

When I read the draft sympathy note for the triplets my jaw DROPPED!

And as for Noname & Letby sitting in a tree k-I-s-s-I-n-g with their weird little trips to London… my question is!!

Those who have been to court and heard his name… have you looked him up and is he good looking 😅

Ooooo I could just kiss BNE 💕 on his bal……d head 😏

What da foook was the point of lying about being taken away in her pyjamas anyway. Did she think the sympathy would wash. Oh my god she got arrested and taken away in her Jimmy jammies that’s absolutely shocking poor her. Nasty mean police. Fit up. Let her go.

“ Darling look I got a little to close to a nurse at work that we only went for walks, okay so she did drive our car and actually we went on a day trip to London but that’s all I’m so sorry oh darling I’ll be going to court too as a prosecution whiteness as she also murdered/ attempted murder of 17 babies”

I think she just can’t get enough of playing the ‘hard done by Lucy’ game. She thrives off sympathy and attention. I know it’s been said before, but I wonder has she some form of Munchausens or factitious disorder by proxy. It would fit. It’s no excuse for just being plain evil though.

Poor Mrs NN and the NN kids. I’m sure this will affect them terribly too. She effectively finished him off today too. I do feel a bit sorry for him. 🐀

Don’t know but this is how the Chester Standard reported it:
What a liar. Why would she add the name of a child who was alive to a sympathy note?

Her notes are quite scary to me. They're so rambling and odd. Shows how deranged she is.
