I think I’ve had enough.

I've been watching Lauren off and on (more off than on the past few years) for over a decade now. I think she has the wrong impression about the critiques of her being “boring”.

Sure, as you age your main interests are different. Your online content evolves or changes. I am also a child-free woman in my 30’s. My long-term boyfriend and I are mostly homebodies too (well he is more than me). My main interests probably are a bit isolating and boring too - gardening, gaming, tv shows, hiking etc. I also get a bit awkward in the public or dealing with strangers. Her lifestyle or personality would surely align with a lot of viewers. If she wants to post about birds - absolutely do it. There’s an audience for it all.

BUT it’s Lauren’s cyclic topics of discussion/rants that seems like we are just watching the same 6 instagram stories on repeat. I jokingly made a bingo card of the topics she endlessly talks about.

The main one is her absolutely endless focus on her own face - bordering on psychotic obsession. The constant comparisons to her own self. There’s only so many times I can watch the same woman inanely discuss or post comparison pictures of their own face. Yes: she was a beauty influencer and it is expected to take photos and videos of herself using products. No: comparing your face shape every single month is NOT interesting content. The constant body checking gives me the ick. Grow up.

I also love gardening, hiking etc and it's not those activities that are boring- it's simply her content. If she didn't have an established following, she'd be dropped..

How out of touch is she? People are sleeping in cars, can't afford food cause their rent has gone up, yet her two biggest problems in life are no number buttons on a remote and having to get up at 5am for a 6am gym class. When she then has the rest of the day to laze around the house.

Interesting that Lauren only lists places like supermarket or gym as places you may drive to. Not like driving to work the majority of people would need it for.

So many first world problems this woman has, examining her face with a microscope and panicking over every imagined imperfection, lamenting over her lost youth even though she’s only 30, claims to be an introvert yet shares the most insignificant minutiae of her boring existence. Seems to be extremely defensive about not wanting children which is a good thing because she is self absorbed/obsessed to the degree the poor child would get neglected while she languishes in her selfish introspective bubble.
She gives off major (my shit doesn’t stink vibes & I’m slightly superior to everyone else). I always remember a few years ago while renting she turned on her camera to have a good cry and pity party over absolutely nothing.

Can you IMAGINE the body image issues she’d pass onto a child if she ever had one!

I really don’t think she could cope with being Reece’s carer for several months if he ends up having a transplant. She doesn’t cope with stress, discomfort or any intrusions to her personal space. Having him around 24/7 will really cramp her style because she just wants to be able to float around in her stress free fantasy bubble.

I may have the wrong impression. But I thought Lauren was always the way she was. She pretended to be a party girl when she was in Sydney.

I remember once when they lived in Perth. Reece had his mates over and Lauren just stayed in her room.

I didn't realise Reece came from such a large family.

Yep and its made it sound like maybe his upbringing was not the best. Perhaps from a low socio family. That def contibutes to not wanting kids.


I dont disagree with you but I dont think Reece is being held back from a life he wants to live either. They both seem like quiet homebodies and that's totally ok! Not everyones lives need to have kids or friends over for footy or parties to be happy. I think thats the point shes trying to convey on her stories to people who keep saying she's wrong.

Loz has put herself in a bit of a shit spot tho because if it so happens she and Reece ever change minds about kids she will get SEE I TOLD YOU YOUR LIFE WOULDNT BE COMPLETE WITHOUT THEM

Regardless of diagnosis she would hugely benefit from therapy to talk to someone about her thoughts and feelings in a way thats not gonna come back to bite her on the bum.

I messaged Lauren a nice message the other day reminding her that young girls follow her and she should be mindful of what she posts about her face/body as it can contribute to body image issues considering she has millions of followers. I was just so sick of her constantly criticising her appearance on the internet, anyway she responds with this haha
