the toilet voice over woman on Virgin Trains. YOU ARE NOT FUNNY.

Also, being sat on the toilet on the virgin train wondering if i pressed the 'lock' button, and have visions off someone opening the door should i decide to go check (as it is MILES away)

(they would see my fat arse in the air with tights around my ankles)

Dog owners who allow their little darlings to run wild off leash and terrorise my nervous dog who is under control on a leash!

If you can’t trust your dog to come back on command then it can’t be trusted off leash. End. Of.

When my husband/kids leave a dribble of milk in the bottom of a carton and return it to the fridge. Not changing the toilet roll when it runs out. Toothpaste tubes squeezed from the middle. Husbands stubble left in the sink after shaving. Rather than washing cutlery, bringing out clean knives etc to butter toast......

Can I stop now before I become red in the face and scream??

When people do their big shop, trolley and all, in the smaller supermarkets ie tesco metro and they are slow and block the aisle when you just want to run in, grab what you need and get out.

Brits who use the term vacay.... since when were you American.... 🙈🙈
Ah like those uk youtubers who say "apartment" and put currency in dollars to appeal to their American audience (as if that audience is too dumb to work out what they mean).

I still get ‘You’ll change your mind...’ I’m 48 🙄

My pet hates:
Could of, should of, etc
Busy mums
People squeezing the fruit in the supermarket
Insta hunning
My husband putting dirty cat food bowls back in the cupboard
Yodel/Hermes
Sniffing
‘Veggies’ - just looking at the word there grinds my gears.
Fellow dressmakers who say armscythe... It’s ARMSCYE
Strangers asking if I’m pregnant (I work hard at staying a size ten but don’t have a flat stomach, shame on me) MY BODY IS NOT YOUR BUSINESS.

People who snapchat/text while driving, ridiculous. Endangering someone's life just so we can hear 10 seconds of a shite song in your Corsa.

My mum always says 'ga ga' to my baby Nephew, it makes me physically recoil I hate the noise of it so much.

Co-workers who are nasty for no apparent reason. I understand everyone has bad days but no need to be an absolute horror to people you're stuck with all day.

Lorries on the motorway indicating for half a second then changing lanes in front of you causing you to panic/beep//brake if you can't move over to another lane
People with permanent coughs
A friend in our group who is so, so wasteful with food and drink, she'll pick at the food and take a few sips of her g+t then leave everything. But she will always drink the free tap water. We've told her before to not order things she doesn't like/won't eat.

There’s obviously something going on there. Eating disorder or maybe a complex about eating out / food she hasn’t cooked? I really just came to say I love that you are Alan Titchmarsh. Cheered me right up that did.

Thank you , I do like to keep my rose bush in good order.

Yeah this friend does have food issues but we’ve been super gentle with saying she doesn’t have to order big meals etc but she always does what we do - so if we order pizza she will order pizza but only nibble on one slice. We wouldn’t mind if she was happier ordering a side salad but she thinks she’s being polite.

Sorry but dogs deserve and need to run off the lead. If your dogs nervous then it’s because it’s not been socialised properly or had a bad experience and you should take it to classes. my dog was nervous when we adopted her, we sorted it and she’s having the best life. Also if you’re nervous then your dog picks up on that.

Not true, not in a public place with other animals and humans, in a dog park yes, absolutely, it’s what they’re there for.
but your dog should be on a lead around other animals and children.

A dog park??? Sort never heard of it?? So you don’t think dogs should be allowed on beaches or forests?

Off leads no I don’t, there are beaches that allow dogs and that’s fine, but I don’t think any dog should be allowed off a lead unless it’s in a dog park.
I’ve had dogs all my life, we have leads that extend but I would never let my dog off a lead in public. It’s not fair on other dogs or other people or children around, not everyone likes dogs, not ever owner checks where their dog has tit. 😐
So no, I don’t agree with dogs being off leads.

People that "sing" along to songs while posing on instagram stories. It drives me MAD. Such narcissistic twats.
I HATE this. And you are right. It is so narcissistic. We are creating a whole generation of narcissists thanks to social media.

Something that annoys me is when people go about their day with absolutely no awareness of the space around them. It's just so rude and maybe it's a symptom of 'me me me' society, it seems to be worse than I ever remember. If you go out to shopping centres or supermarkets people are just unbelievable.
Oh my god. So I am from the UK but have lived in Canada for a number of years where there is a vast amount of space. Haha.

We were back in the UK recently and it was driving me MAD how crowded it was and that people just walked into you not paying attention. People had zero self-awareness.

And don't even get me started on the roads. I forgot how ridiculously small they are. I think you only realise once you move somewhere with big highways and shoulders. haha.

Ah like those uk youtubers who say "apartment" and put currency in dollars to appeal to their American audience (as if that audience is too dumb to work out what they mean).
It is SO funny as in Canada and in the US, "apartments" aren't nice. They are a unit of rentals that are often low income. So North Americans must think UK YTers live in horrible housing. Over here, you would use the word "condo" for what the UK people are wanting to describe.

I hope your friend gets the help she needs. Food issues are the pits. 😓

Thank you for your message. My dog did have a bad experiance. She was attacked twice by staffies off leash. The owners could not control their animal both times. So as well as footing expensive vet bills we are also shelling out for an expensive one on one dog behaviourist as she is too scared to attend classes with other animals.

She had a great life before the attacks and am hopefull that she will again but it will take time and patience.

We have even purchased a special hi vis leash and collar set to highlight that she is a nervous dog but it seems that most other dog owners seem to be oblivious to what particular dog collar colours stand for.

Again thank you for your message.

I don’t know where you live but where I’m from well behaved dogs are always off leads. Mine never goes on the lead not even to go to the local shop. We don’t have dog parks either. Dog obviously aren’t allowed in play parks and on some areas of the beach in summer.
