Singing classes? For a not-quite-18-month-old? I've never heard anything so ridiculous.
Also: ballet class? Surely that can’t be a thing?! Is that a thing? I don’t have kids, but it all seems a little bit over the top to me at that age. I went to ballet class when I was 5, and all we did was running around in circles really, what can you do with small toddlers?

She's already talking about moving? When they bought this place, she mentioned several times that they needed the space for kids (plural) and that they had made all the changes with kids in mind. Now she needs a bigger space because a family of three needs two bedrooms, a playroom and an office? Sure. Sounds like she's bored again but doesn't want to have another kid just yet to fill the void.

Speaking of her office – it's not like she needs loads of space in order to do her work. She films most of her videos in other parts of the house anyways. She doesn't even have a desktop computer or a separate screen, she just uses her laptop. She could easily replace her vanity with her desk and work from the bedroom if she really wanted for Grey to have a playroom. But nope, she needs to come up with ridiculous excuses for an upcoming move because she doesn't want people to call her out on this wastefulness.

The other option is that she has come to her senses and realizes that the interiors of her house already look dated and in a few years, they will bring down the property value.

Wow. Her latest video.

- Lily’s post-natal body, lack of creativity and loss of time is all Grey’s fault...but she doesn’t want to wait too long to have a second kid.
- don’t get her wrong, she still loves her house...but she wishes she had a separate playroom for Grey and she also didn’t stretch herself too much financially so they will probably buy another, bigger house at some point.
- no one told her that she’s stuck in her neighborhood once Grey starts school because, if they moved, Grey would have to change schools, which Lily never had to do...but Rich moved schools as a kid and was fine.
- Lily is worried about Rich eventually going back to work because it will affect her and she’ll have to spend more time with Grey.
Dude. Duuuuudeeeee.
You don't have to have a child if you're not ready or you know, ever. You don't have to give birth just because you're bored, society tells you it's time or you can't stand your partner anymore and need a distraction. I guess nobody told her😇 What is worse is she blatantly pukes out things like these online, we are talking about it and it will stay online forever. Her 3 brain cells left can't grasp how her daughter would feel when she reads about all the things she kept her mum from doing. What a healthy, loving outlook on having children🌈 Her sole existence is an insult on people who would love to adopt/ give birth to children but can't do so because of their circumstances.

OP, thank you for taking the bullet and watching the whole thing.

Because she is one of the many people who have kids because thats what you 'do' who do no research into babies or children and then have the audacity to be surprised & annoyed that its hard/boring
I think, to Lily, the separate playroom is needed so she can shut the door on her daughter while she’s playing with her noisy and colorful toys. Out of sight, out of mind amirite?!

Something that isn’t shutting during lockdown 2.0 is nursery and child care. So rather than sending Grey to swimming and ballet, she could do a couple of mornings a week at a nursery school (or more!).

My brother has a playroom for his kids, it’s right off the kitchen so he can hear them and look after them but then when they go to bed he can close the door on the mess etc. If I had room in my house I’d do the same. But I don’t, so I have a toy box and I tidy and then relax. And it’s fine. Everything is workable if you’re willing to be a bit flexible about things. I think that dead passage would be perfect for Grey, she could have some toy boxes and a floor mat and she could sit and play with her toys while Lily makes lunch, or tidies the kitchen, or replies to emails. I’m not for one minute suggesting that someone should ignore their children all day long and get on with their own stuff, but it’s very healthy for your child to do some independent play for some time and it’s the reason most working parents function.
I also call bullshit on her video today- saying they didn’t stretch themselves with their house and bought based on what Rich could pay because they weren’t sure of Lily’s career prospects... why is Rich working part time then, surely it makes more sense to put Grey in nursery for a couple of days a week and the keep the “steady” worker intact.
also “the one thing I regret” - you say that all the time about different things. She really ballsed up this house!

did she also say her favourite loungewear was from B&M? 😂

You know this really makes me angry! My little girl is 15 months old. We are a family who has suffered and still suffering financially due to covid. I didn’t get the chance to take her to any classes or swimming lessons as I would have hoped for. But I am grateful at the same time to spend time with my daughter and see her growing up. I can’t believe she is complaining about that. Lily making a den is actually fun and getting into pretend play with your daughter. I had enough of her moaning all the time especially for her house too when people like myself can barely pay rent! How privileged

Like said in the previous thread that home is perfectly livable for a family of 4! I grew up in a family of 4 and lived in a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home. I had to share a bedroom with my older brother until I was 9 years old but I survived 🤷‍♀️ 🙄. Lily's home has an extra bedroom, bathroom, and one less person (right now), and it's too small for her? FFS!🤦‍♀️. She could still live in that house with 3 young children actually. Put one kid in the box room, put a bunk bed for the two other kids in the second bedroom and she could 'work' in the master bedroom. There is really no reason for her to move right now unless she wants reno 'content' to keep up with Anna.

It’s definitely a thing, my daughter has been going to baby ballet since she was 7 months old...it’s more sensory/singing with a tiny bit of ballet thrown in. I’m actually surprised Lily took Grey to it, I would’ve thought ballet would be too ‘traditional’ a hobby for the daughter of oh so different and edgy London girl Lily 🙄

Thank you for clarifying! I thought she meant actual ballet lessons because of the way she worded it when Grey first went.

Did anyone notice how she continues to dog-whistle at makeup brands owned by women of color? “The Huda beauty stick has loads of colors, but it’s not as high coverage as the hourglass. It’s not going on the same.” And then she complained that the Fenty bronzer made her brush green. Maybe bc your bronzer was so disgustingly dirty that you contaminated your own brush?! And then she was like oh the pencil part just fell out idk if I want to recommend this now. I swear it’s just like she didn’t know why Rihanna had names the brand Fenty. She is such a tool🤯

Ok this is aimed toward all British influencers like Amelia, Niomi, Lily, etc who are posting all these November LockDown Oh My posts: how about you start using your social media platform and influence people to wear masks and not travel all over Europe? Hmm?! They were all showing themselves mask-free in public (more often than not) and meeting with friends/new people. Then whenever this was brought up in IG comments, fans were all 'we have different guidelines here.' Well guess what? The virus didn't care about your different guidelines, and this is the consequence! So next time around take precautions! And encourage others to do the same! Ugh. Just sick of these privileged women whining now about being back on lockdown when they played into the reason why it happened.

I remember Lily recommending the channel What's up moms even before having Grey, so why doesn't she take advice from them (or another similar channel) and do something entertaining for Grey instead of complaining about all the canceled classes? I'm sure most of her followers would prefer some content along those lines to that artichoke reel (seriously, wtf?). She has had months of lockdown and spending every day with her daughter, and still her way of entertaining her or doing sth fun with her is giving her a cardboard box and calling it a day

To be fair to Lily, she isn't socialising nearly as much as the others (but that might not be due to covid though)
