Our living room is painted a fairly dark green (it’s a north facing room so we decided to embrace it) but we’ve paired that with neutral toned furniture, rug and minimal accessories. I think it’s the mish-mash of furniture that’s not working for her. She could easily afford to pay Rebecca Wakefield to come back over haul the living space, I don’t know why she doesn’t?

Lily is clearly trying to make a point to show everyone that Rich now uses her office to work from. Last week she showed him working at her desk and this week she is clearing it for him. Only took Rich 8 months of working from the kitchen table for Lily to give him her desk. Lily must've been feeling generous.

Yes and as per usual making an event of the "change over" as if it some big deal involving loads of effort...It's not like they've each got lots of specialised equipment, bulky files and piles of documents etc that need swapping every time....??

The big problem is that whether it's clothes or the home Lily has no sense of her own style or she's frightened to show it, so it's stuff that she thinks will look good on insta, copied from insta or suggested by people who don't know her. Hence why it always looks off. She's had plenty of money to chuck at these things plus all the freebies and that very nice house still looks cold and unloved.

I dont get why everything is so hard for them. They have that massive room as an office, why could they have grabbed an extra desk for him to work from home? My husband and I are a lot poorer than them (just normal!) but we've come to the realisation that WFH could be the new norm so we've adjusted. It cost us maybe £200 and it makes our lives a lot easier. And we're incredibly lucky to have the space to do it. When you have room in your house to make your life easier why wouldnt you for the sake of an "instagram" worthy house. I think that's her main problem - she cares more about how her house looks compared to how it functions!

Exactly. My neighbour even have to work in her kid’s room by putting a study desk there, and the husband work in their bedroom. They have the space! Buy a bigger desk, it can be ikea or something instead of decorating your wall with some generic prints.
Hate hate hate the pampas and the vase.

Can someone tell me how deep is her stitches. She is so dramatic sometimes  and good girl Grey messing with her mum’s plant hahah!!!

She strikes me as the type of person who gets up in the morning and instantly moans about something and if nothing comes to sight she will find it. Would it not make more sense for her to have her gallery wall in that space in the kitchen where she has the awkward length mirror and “her” toy kitchen? Do your gallery wall there, put “her” kitchen in your office, make the office “her” bedroom, hang your mirror in the hall where your gallery wall used to be and shut the duck up annoying everyone everyday about how to style your home.

It pisses me off that she has this beautiful home and no idea what to do with it. I nearly died when I heard her on about putting a bleeping window behind the couch so you can see out to the hallway, is this woman insane?! I think sliding glass panelled doors that separate the living area from the kitchen could work well if she’s looking to keep the light in the living room. Millie Mackintosh’s home has similar.

This is amazinf, does she have a home account ?

She is so desperate to drag out house/'reno' content that she is now asking for advice on placement of a toy kitchen?! How does she not see how ridiculous this is. She should have paid for help from an interior designer BEFORE they renovated as she's made a complete mess of it and ended up with an ugly house that's not even functional and she herself doesn't even like it.

The thing is, she sees herself as being 'smart and practical' about her design

Poor little Grey is really dressed to match her name isn’t she? My little one is approx the same age and most of her clothes are have animal and rainbow prints and are multi coloured.

Also, didn’t she find out she was pregnant just as the renovation started ? She knew she would need it to be child friendly... why didn’t she factor that in
I think she found out on moving day? But they were actively trying for sooooo long (wasn't it 6 months? ) and still made so many kid UNfriendly choices.

No one told her how to make a house child-friendly...

The powers of Google and her sisters' experience are obviously outside of her reach.

I started watching YouTube with fluer, Anna, Zoe ect.. and I liked those girls, but there was something about lilly I didn’t like. I always thought she was so entitled and stuck up.. and she still is. She’s also such a bore. How do people watch a whole video?

Very similarly we painted our dining room a dark green (embraced the fact it wasn't well lit) and have lightened it up with light furniture and art and lots of mirrors and glass lamps. Why she chose to pair a navy wall with a navy sofa that blends into it I have no idea

I feel for whoever was the poor person that had to speak with her super late about her stitches. I worked in a medical call center before and I have feeling I know exactly what kind of caller she is.

Surprised she hasn't posted a photo of her stitches TO KEEP IT REAL

Has she mentioned *anything* at all about what’s all over the news here with the free school meals? As a parent with a following she could do so much. These bloggers staying apolitical is disgusting to me

The center I worked at had accounts with Dr offices and hospitals. They would forward their phones to us when they closed for lunch or the day and we would take messages from patients or other drs or hospitals to either hold for the next day or to get the dr that was on call. We had all types of drs so we got all kinds of patients.

Parents were the worst because they panic over everything. They also try some weird diy tit before calling the Dr. Pediatricians have so much patience.

We would get "emergency" calls for birth control refills. People weren't happy when we told them that isn't an emergency and the Dr would refill their prescription in the next day.

We would get yelled at if apparently the office never called them back but the patient was able to get a hold of us and thought we were actual employees.

Had a woman that would call and just yell "where is my leg?!?!?" (It was for an artificial limb acct). She wouldn't even say hi first.

A lot of people assume that just because the Dr is on call that meant their call should be taken. The doctors usually specified to us what types of calls they would and wouldn't take. About 85% of calls are stuff that can wait for the next day when the office opens.

For Lily, I assume the fact she isn't going into detail means it was probably nothing. Unless stitches are popping out or it is oozing something horrific, that was a call that probably could have waited until the morning. Shes been making a mountain out of a molehill (pun intended) of this whole situation so I can totally see her panicking over the skin being red and maybe a little warm. The skin is healing. Its going to do some things.

I don't imagine her wound is that big tbh, so I think it can definitely wait.
