I agree re Dawson, my children are a similar age to eggs and my youngest the same age as Dawson, they’re into everything and do make family outings hard work but I’ve tried going out without them and feel too guilty, I suppose a toddler running riot doesn’t fit in with the Insta family scruff look they’re going for.
