Yeah, I didn't like it. I'm a radio ulster listener and we have a presenter doing similar. The caller was trying to claim that nobody on the BBC should ever express a political opinion.
Completely agree and I believe the person should have been challenged but not in that way.Not all opinions are valid or equal. There has to be a basis in fact and reality.
Did you see Jaquie (or however she spells her name) Smith on the BBC2 poilitics show? She was promoting some organisation she's set up to promote respect and being nice in politics ... only then about 30 secs later to talk over Isabel Oakshot and tell her to 'shut up' in a really condescending way?
