Lauren seems to think it’s still 2010. She always says whenever she’s ‘interviewed’ that she was the first reality star, that she ‘grew up on TV’ that this is ‘all she’s ever known’. As much as I think the love island lot are vacuous and pointless too, they are the hot property. Younger models like Molly Mae Hague for example, she’s only just turned 20. Lauren was not the first reality star .. what about the big brother contestants/ the shipwrecked contestants? They were around way before her. The difference is that social media was in its very early infancy at this point in time. By the time 2010 came around it had started to take off.

Lauren left so early on! She was in about series 1-3 and there’s now about 25 series. And her only storylines were chasing after mark (which she shouldn’t have , he’s a twunt) and getting her ‘nelllz’ (nails) done.I dont even think she was one of the main characters - to me it was about the wrights in the first couple of series and everyone else associated was kind of addition. well exactly, Lauren is delusional. Jade, whatever you thought of her, was a huge personality and pretty much changed the game in terms of reality tv and people being celebrities with no talent. Lauren was a supporting character who was known for going out with Mark Wright. All her scenes revolved around him- fighting with him, breaking up and getting back together with him, confronting girls he’d slept with behind her back. She wasn’t interesting of her own accord unlike arg, joey, and of course Gemma hahaha.

Katie, I agree. Genuinely I think this is a josie Cunningham style (she’s irrelevant now but watch the doc on her) media campaign to keep Lauren relevant. She’s seen what it’s done for Sam and ferne. Even her tacky mates the goodmans have done well out of having babies. It won’t be the making of her at all. It will be another money maker for her, and I’m willing to bet she’ll create pregnant only fans content too.
Mavis told me about the Josie documentary yesterday so I have added it to my watchlist! I just think it's insane how people were actually fawning over her and not one bit of her behaviour has changed. Still begging for attention, still photo shopping the face and still on Only Fans. What a class act. Surely the people who fawn over her have absolutely no brain cells or ambition? Like without TOWIE she’s just a random woman who did beauty at college. The one scene that stands out for me on TOWIE is when the cast were in ( I assume) the sugarhut. Mark and Arg were stood at the bar and then Lauren and chums were sat at a table all talking about Mark. Then next thing you know Mark talks to some girl so Lauren stands up with her back to him and does a cringe sexy dance. It’s probably been about 10 years that happened but I still die inside when I recall the clip
She clearly wanted to make him feel like he was “missing out”while she was making her sexy moves yet it was an epic fail
