There was a girl at my school who was anorexic and the thinner she got the more body hair she grew. There is a reason why, I can't exactly remember but it's something to do with the body wanting to keep itself warm.

It is to do with keeping the body warm. I did a photoshoot back in September and got VERY VERY CLOSE to an ED (not meaning to minimalist people who have them by saying that) and I noticed it myself. I felt cold all the time before and it lessened once the hair started growing (if that makes sense)

Luckily I’m more or less out the other side now, and lesson learnt that I need to stop running myself into the ground!

I'm not body shaming anyone either but this woman is a pro-ana influencer. She needs to get a good nutritionist in to help her, she may be naturally slim but her diet of diet coke and sweets are making her look dreadful - and to think this woman is a nurse!

Sadly I think she’s been sucked in by the hype and because she’s received attention and followers through Stacey she’s made the mistake of thinking they’re there just because of her and not because of who her sister is, hence her thinking, and cringeworthy behaving, like she’s famous!

I also think she’s tempted by the allure of the influencer/Instagrammer life; you make lots of money and get given lots of free stuff just by being you. The problem is that Jemma isn’t the sort of person people aspire to be. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not under the illusion that I would be either but then again I’m not plastering myself (and my body hair ) all over the ‘gram.

For a start she looks physically unwell and mentally she’s so erratic and all over the place, but she also doesn’t come across as a very nice person; she’s snide and often makes digs and derogatory comments even to people in her own family. She’s also arrogant and show offy and has a haughty superior attitude that really isn’t pleasant to watch.

All in all I think she’d be better focussing on the business and making her Instagram about that as I don’t see a lot of attraction in watching Jemma purge herself of body hair interspersed with a glimpse into various family outings and parties and of course not forgetting endless ice skating videos. And how could we forget the ice skating videos eh?!
