Yes, I imagine Aus has its own set if rules. But don't forget, they sail the world! If I was an Australian citizen I would be quite apprehensive about leaving because it can be difficult to get back, I have friends who are citizens and over the past 2/3 months have had huge difficulties flying back from Europe with cancelled flights etc
It just proves how impractical she is, she is living in a total fantasy world
I guess they could just move in to the pollaio if they can't get backYes, I imagine Aus has its own set if rules. But don't forget, they sail the world!
OmgI posted this to her Renovating a Ruin / Demolition / Part 7 on 4/18/20, regarding her “wedding”.
“We’re having similar difficulties with documents. Too bad you won’t actually be married !
Italian laws are heavily biased to favour men in any case. Consider an English speaking country where it is more equitable.”
Fitting title.
It is all very mysterious! Lol. But *if* it is the divorce record, no, it can't be through the embassy or online, it must be original. I am not sure how things work in Australia, but in the US certain documents can only be picked up in-person with ID. Maybe it's similar in Australia... or if not, surely she could fill out some form releasing the record to a designated person? Who knows!I'm so intrigued as to what this mythical document is, how, in this day and age, even without the whole corona situation, can you not get documents online/in an embassy?
yeah I really wonder what his family thinks of this tbhAs regards Fridays video, I can't get over how much she has taken over.
I know we need to take in to account social norms, age, personality and upbringing.
I married at 24 and my husband had inherited an 16thC Manor from his uncle. I knew this would be my home when we got engaged but I loved him and I loved history. Only 5 rooms were habitable. It was a nightmare. Anyway, I didn't like a lot of the ornaments and artworks. I appreciated them but they weren't my taste. It took almost 4 years and alcohol involved for me to tell him I hated them. So did he, so they were taken down and put away.
I always felt it was my home but I didn't feel I could take over and remove or change 100's of years of his family.
The first mistake is to apply logic to anything that happens in Italy.I'm so intrigued as to what this mythical document is, how, in this day and age, even without the whole corona situation, can you not get documents online/in an embassy?
This is not on out of respect for Guido but she has form.Curious if anyone remembers Kylie telling everyone about Guido seeing a psychologist in the Q&A “to improve his relationships”? Did she even ask his permission to talk about it and how she thinks it has effected his life? It’s very unusual for a man in Italy to see a psychologist except under the direst circumstances, let alone discuss it with strangers. It is a gross intrusion into his privacy as he wasn’t the one discussing it in detail, but she was...What do you think @PlinyinTorquay?
I must have missed that, that is ridiculous! I have mentioned this before but it reminds me of when she has filmed people when they don't speak English and she doesn't speak their language (i.e. in Iran) are they really aware they are not just in someones holiday video but something that is potentially going to be seen by 100s of thousands of people? This is not on out of respect for Guido but she has form.
Some of us discussed her friend Brian in the last thread.
Does anyone remember their chatty videos in Rome? I posted one in the last thread.
She disclosed something similar about him, in one of those and he looked surprised.
I wondered why it was left in, did he not ask her to remove it?
Hi @Appleblossom, yes there are magazines like ‘Chi’ in Italy that cover ‘slebs. But Kylie is a nobody in Italy, just one of thousands of ex-pats trying to sell the Italian dream. There are also just as many Guidos with unrestored farms in the country, undistinguished if old family names and mundane careers to keep some money rolling in. He’s an accountant and she makes vlogs about herself and pays for video views, comments etc No ‘sleb magazine is ever going to know or care about them let alone pay to have pics of their wedding...Hi guys,
Real life took over from Tattling. I have finally caught up here and watched Fridays video.
One thing has entered my head and I need the help of the Italian posters.
Guido's family did come from noble stock, he appears to be the heir to all the extensive property and land. He appears to still socialise in esteemed circles.
Now my theory:
Does Italy have celeb magazines like Hello, where Z list celebs and minor Royals and aristocracy sell the rights to their weddings?
Could Kylie and Guido have done this and the wedding has to go ahead?
I don't know if such a thing happens in Italy.
Regards the document, does it have to be picked up by Kylie specifically or can it be picked up by a family member and posted or couriered over.
I know its the UK and marriage in the UK so apples and oranges but my husband picked up my brothers divorce record from the Matrimonial court about 12 years ago.
If Kylie doesn't need to be there, it could be couriered overnight, expensive but it could be done.
It’s all very odd.
I bet if someone asked her about being featured in a magazine she would claim she is so old fashioned she doesn't follow any celebrities or know these magazines existWelcome

Omg what is WITH these people?!! Or has Kylie written these comments herself and posted them??I bet if someone asked her about being featured in a magazine she would claim she is so old fashioned she doesn't follow any celebrities or know these magazines existjust like her semi bragging about not watching TV as if that is somehow impressive.
I was reading the comments on the latest renovation video for entertainment, they are totally insane, one person saying they are surprised Spielberg isn't a patreon (or maybe he is )
I was thinking this too. I hope that she receives permission regarding the children she interviews, especially interviews in more perilous and risky countries. I assume for large tv networks there is regulation in place, but I'm not sure what the deal is with YouTube.I must have missed that, that is ridiculous! yeh exactly, I don't know how she would be able to get that permission though, she is travelling alone without a team or even a translator or anythingI was thinking this too. I also noticed on the last thread that it was discussed that her videos featured people that she had romantic connections with. If this is true, I wonder if she got permission off them to release the footage, I'm not sure how comfortable I'd feel if an ex of mine or someone I was very close to uploaded footage of me to a large audience a while after we had broken up
She would say that! Just like her knocking Influencer culture in one of her "rap" videos lol. She doesn't watch tv , yet will talk about watching Disney movies or rom coms with Guido, as if that is high brow? Lol. Nothing wrong with them, but as usual her way of denigrating certain things while making what she enjoys to seem superior is just soI bet if someone asked her about being featured in a magazine she would claim she is so old fashioned she doesn't follow any celebrities or know these magazines existjust like her semi bragging about not watching TV as if that is somehow impressive.

I liked her at the time and thought it was a very healthy convo about mental health and anxiety, until I saw Brian's face.I must have missed that, that is ridiculous!
