Funny… some people actually don’t enjoy Disney world, some people don’t like theme parks. Hurricane season could be a problem for many, others might not like the humidity and temperatures. A lot might not enjoy the crowds or waiting in line….

But actually I was more referring to their visit to see Kyle, whom they haven’t seen for months. A lot of families live close to each other and can see each other all of the time. For Kyle and his family, they live many miles away and spend months apart, so it has been lovely to see them visit and enjoy their time with a son they don’t often see. I don’t see a family reunited and enjoying their time together in vlogs very often.

I enjoyed the STK video and family time, cousin Craig is a lot of fun. The dessert charcuterie was amazing and nice of the server.

Have they ever said where Kyle's brother is? Why he doesn't go?

I think he meant how many other vloggers used to have fun but seem to only do it for the views now and are bored/miserable at the parks. So many complaining about Genie +, sharing their disappointment with the 50th celebration; Kyle's at least having fun especially with his family around!

Kyle has been talking a bit previously about creating a twitch channel for gaming. How would you guys feel about that, would it be a good move for him? I think his personality could draw in viewers, it’d be interesting to see another side to him as well outside Disney.

I think he'd get a decent viewer count just from viewers that watch his live streams, the tricky part with Twitch is that the engaged users there are primarily viewers on that platform, focused on gaming content and not as interested in following YouTube. Might be able to get a small lift for YouTube subscribers, Twitch is a bit shakier to grow on though since they seem like they're only interested in showcasing esports over everything else.

The greatest value I think would be getting new ideas for his channel, particularly for travelling outside of Disney. His reach is only so far with a Disney-Universal focus, and that means his channel growth is limited to how much people are seeking out Disney World updates. With Twitch that will have less of a park-related discussion, and maybe gain some interest in travelling to some gaming conventions like PAX.


Also, SMH at Jojo's first video of exciting daily content being a 10 second character meeting short. Great start!

I admit I thought there was a little sarcasm in your comment, as in ‘people having fun at Disney who would have thought’? But I understand what you were trying to say now. Honestly I don’t watch many of the other Disney vloggers other than Kyle because they either bore me to tears (Tim Tracker), or seem fake and irritating (JoJo). So I don’t necessarily see the ones that make it feel like a chore. I agree with you though it is refreshing to see this family having the time of their lives. Kyle has been trying to persuade them to move to Florida for a while, I hope he succeeds so we can see them more often!

Not his mom or sister, it was his the girl he was spending a lot of time with and everyone assumed was his girlfriend, Mel. She blocked him, someone here mentioned he allegedly cheated on her, but no evidence that I know of.

Is it because he rarely breaks character on camera? I think he’s so used to his clown persona it’s hard for him to stop, especially when there’s an audience. I still think he’s fantastic though, what a dad. And the ‘dad dad dad’ t shirt was great

Kyles comments on his moms tea in todays vlog, with the classic piano tune were hilarious. And did anyone catch Alexa stealing one of Kyles fries? I love this family!

I have issues with people who are always On. There are a lot of vloggers who lean into a persona. I think that's why I like Patrick so much is that even if he's super-bubbly, you can tell that's his actual personality, and he does have moments of this witchy wit that are a lot of fun. But for people like Michael Kay, PMM, or Adam Hattan, there's this cynical gloss to it, because the light never quite reaches their eyes. I actually think PMM may be the worst offender, because he has this very carefully constructed "aww, shucks" thing going on, that I've frankly never entirely bought.

Kyle, for all of his wanna-be sugar baby antics, does have genuine moments here and there, and between his clear joy at reaching 100K subscribers (not a goal I'd have, but good for him) and just how much fun he's having with his family, is having a lot more of them lately. Which is probably why I've warmed up to him. Although I'm still not buying him a resort stay.

All of this is to say that, while I'm sure Papa Pallo comes from a genuine place, my coulrophobia is such that the red nose makes me want to hide under my bed. They do seem like a great family, despite that.

I’ve considered Kyle to be a relatively good person, which makes it even harder to understand why he and JoJo have stayed friends for so long. They are so different and Kyle has expressed frustration many times regarding JoJo’s behavior. Kyle seems like someone who would have dropped JoJo a long time ago. I don’t get it.

Waaa so him an Mel was or are actually a couple?! So what are the deets who gave up the tea about him cheating an her blocking him can u tag me to the post or is in the youtube comments under a video?

Regarding Mel and JoJo:

1. She had her sights on him when they first met online through social media. She said that she had studied JoJo’s videos, then she told him things like that her favorite Mickey is Sorcerer Mickey and that she loves Stitch, both of which gained favor with JoJo and both of which she would have learned from his videos were his favorites.
2. I think her intention was at least in part to increase her own online presence and career. She inserted herself in the second day of Paula Abdul visiting the parks with JoJo and when an Instagram account reposted the video of her and JoJo kissing in Galaxy’s Edge, she left a message asking that she be tagged too.
3. She posted indirect messages on Instagram about how he completed her and she loved him, and those could be true or not. She always seemed from her other postings that she was doing quite well when he wasn’t around.
4. JoJo has always been pining for a girlfriend. I think JoJo had affection for Mel and it was probably amplified by her being, I assume, the first girl to agree to go out with him more than once since he moved to Florida. Girls quickly move him to the friend zone due to his eccentric behavior and thoughtlessness.
5. It was odd how much JoJo kept stressing that he and Mel were not dating and that they were just friends. Mel went along with the semantics game. You could tell in his live video at Disneyland that he was really irritated by the notion of people thinking they were anything more. He had previously made a TikTok video just about not liking when people shipped him with anyone. It was like how he keeps reminding people that he is not gay. I’ve lost count of how many times the last two years he has felt the need to point out that he isn’t.
6. You could also tell in the Disneyland videos that he was getting frustrated with her. She says what she feels, but JoJo is a person who bites his tongue and avoids confrontation. We’ve seen that over and over when Kyle teases him.
7. Every so often JoJo tells the story of his “ex” from when he was a student at Scranton. His story is that she hurt him badly when she told JoJo at Christmastime that she missed her ex. I think while JoJo wants a girlfriend, he also is very fearful of a girlfriend leaving or hurting him and so he perhaps unconsciously ends up pushing people away as a preemptive move. That could be why he doesn’t want an official girlfriend and why he may have done something to cause Mel to break away.
8. It’s funny how at the same time Mel was posting her princess IG stories, JoJo was posting two TikTok videos of himself in Aladdin garb showing himself to be quite the opposite of heartbroken, almost as a taunt.
9. It’s going to be hard for JoJo to have a relationship since he’s so self-centered. He creates the impression that’s he’s not, but if you look closely over a period of time, everything is about him, his career and his content. He’s used other vloggers, including Kyle from the outset, as stepping stones to advance himself. Even the things he does for people in his vlogs are just done for content.
10. JoJo once said that in HS or college there was a time that he deliberately pushed away good, old friends because he thought they were holding him back socially, and he tried instead to get close to the cool kids. He says he realizes he was wrong to do that, but he’s still that person. It influences his friendship decisions.

Now that is hot tea i will have to find her Ig page an lurk the youtube comments on his videos to see if more tea pops up..but im sure he is double deleting comments since this drama is going on.

Over-under on how many times during the livestream Kyle mentions how his family will be "visiting in a few months but they're trying to figure out where they will stay at Disney ".

She is a nurse, I think he mentioned it a few times. I’ll miss her in the vlogs. Kyle adds so much personality and humour into his videos, and these family ones especially, so many awesome moments. He deserves far more than the number of subs he has right now.

In his livestream just now he revealed he is still having pain in his ankle though, that’s been going on months now. Hope he gets it looked at soon.
